If there’s one internet celebrity i’d gladly take a beer with, its Jim. Can’t say i agree with him on everything ( some of his opinions are too far left for my taste), but that’s what would make it fun.

I used to not like Jim, but he started calling out gaming companies over MTX BS long before everyone else realized buying anime skins for 50 bux is bad for gaming overall.

Glad the rest of “games journalism” finally realized what most gamers have known since the early 2010s, this MTX bs will hurt gaming, not help it.

Left or right meaning leaning that way politically

Left = liberal, right = conservative

Hes a brit who reports about the goings on in the video game industry, hes gained traction from being one of the earliest people calling out gaming on the BS that makes it suck these days.

Hes willing to give up access to report, so unlike alot of people in this space, hes not just a advertiser for the AA gaming industry.

Gaming is full of fanboys who will defend the worst crap just because the specific company made a great game a decade ago, so its nice to see people who seem to actually care about this hobby.

People who can think about the big picture of things, of where society is heading. Big corps dancing to the tune of an Orwellian totalitarian regime to safeguard market access for example.

dude its jim sterling he used to be ehh tolerable but that jim is long gone. if anyone that doesn’t know jim stirling the one thing that you need to know is that he is the guy wants steam store to censor games.

Correction, he wants Steam to curate its store so good indy games aren’t buried under endless amounts of asset flips and other turds and to remove stuff like school shooting games.

dude thats censoring. if it quacks like a duck and looks like a duck its a duck.

The dude said a company is * (like 20 times) because they censored a person at one of their events. He lost all credibility from me in the first 3 minutes

Go to a world cup final and start cussing in the mic and get surprised when FIFA bans you and fines you???

There’s some idiotic * on the internet

You’re a guest at someone’s event and lack the common sense to behave yourself and you get butthurt when your actions have a consequence?

steams not a store its a marketplace its much more in common with a flee market.

A public store having bare minimum standards for what it offers isn’t censorship.

Try selling graphic imagery and other things in poor tastes at a flea market and tell me how it ends.

never been to a true flea market have ya… some don’t and some do a quick google search before you post in the future.

Don’t exactly hang in underbellies no. If you hang with drug dealers and such don’t make it the base for what is supposed to be available in a public space.

your the one that so foolishly claimed that no flea market would do that and guess what you were wrong don’t try to moral grand stand to try and distract from the fact that you don’t know what your talking about.
