BUT, if you own the discord you can perma ban them from entering it again. If you don’t own the discord… you can simply leave that server, since you won’t miss those people anyways.
In relation to WoW, GMs can only act on in-game stuff that happens. Chats, whispers, yells and such that are reported. Outside sources are not in Blizzards jurisdiction. So, add them to the ignore list in the game as well for good measure.

You might be able to report them to Discord? Blizz can’t do anything though unless it happens in-game. Discord isn’t their department.

Can you do that on discord if someone is racist and bad there?
This isn’t a grey area, these people were using the N word and everything.
I’ve never done it, but they claim they don’t tolerate that kind of stuff.
They might be able to ban the person’s account rather than just have them banned from the discord server.

It was blatant racism, that’s just the facts, end of story, and we should crack down on it and make it stop.
Probably disassociate yourself with them. It’s your discord, you can remove them and create a new invite.
Sometimes it feels like I am living in two worlds. In my Asian side of the world people say horrible things about all the races in a very frank way, not intent as actual racism but more as a matter of fact kinda way.
In the Western side it feels like people are a lot more sensitive to these things and of course I never say anything about it, but at times it feels put on. This feels like a change from the last 20 years before which people made off jokes all the time. I hate to admit it but I prefer when everyone did make fun of each other and themselves at the expense of race/identity/class/gender because it helped break down social barriers.

I know POC who find other POC use of said word offensive. No one should be using that word. If it’s cool when POC say it, but wrong when others say it…well that’s racial discrimination by definition.
