Trolls are basically night elves with tusks.
So I’d say haranir are still something in between them.
Because they’re the 4th race to use Night Elf rigging, I am simply not excited and won’t even be bothered to make one.
We’ve got: Night Elves (Alliance), Nightborne (Horde), Zandalari Trolls (Horde), and now Haranir (Neutral).
Ironic that the majority/half of the races that share the same skeleton as Night Elves, are on the Horde lol.
At least we are getting Amani Trolls- which use the Troll model. I’ll be making one of those.

Well if any of you paid attention Trolls and Elves are descendant from each other so it makes sense.

They are the true elf on a shelf, shelf under the earth.
Why design a new race from the ground up when you can just cut costs from re-using assets. I bet the next race Blizzard adds is High Elfs which will just be the same cost cutting.

I think the males look better than nelf males, so ready to make a new hunter when I am able. 
It would make more sense that the Harronir are the “half-way” point between Trolls and Elves, but… Honestly, if the resemblance just turns out to be coincidental and they’re going back to the original “feral humanoids” that gave rise to the Kaldorei, cutting out the Trolls wholesale?
… There have been infinitely dumber retcons. And, given the raging animosity between Trolls and Elves, both sides would appreciate not being joined at the “evolutionary” hip.

Would it? It seems more like they’re cousins, both descended from trolls in different paths. One group of trolls found the Well of Eternity and got arcane’d into night elves, another found whatever it is that made the haranir and got nature’d into them.
Wait, Haranir are just night elves? They aren’t a halfway between elf and troll?

Hating elves is a baseline, morally-positive outlook to have. Not sorry.

For non-Elves, of course it is.
Hate is just a venting mechanism for jealousy.
Not as annoying as getting just dwarves last expansion.
