Me personally, Explore the timelines. See all the what ifs and could haves of Azeroth. Just crack open the timeways and have at it.

I don’t know where we’re going, or what we’re doing, but all I desire is a book on Taming Aberrations.

Don’t know.

We know that it won’t be the following:

Emerald Dream (because a single uniting theme is too homogenous for a full expansion)
Black Empire (same reason)
World Revamp (Ion said it’s coming someday but it did not sound like 11.0 was that day)
Pirates (big honcho said so)

Hmm… either Ogrezonia or Zul’Dare as i’ve been peckish for something old school warcraft. :robot::thought_balloon:

edit: Granted, these are small locations but even the Broken Isles was supposed to be tiny. :pinching_hand::robot:

A hard reset with 2 versions of pathfinder, no evergreen systems, and a cut and paste of the same game with a few small graphical differences.

I know it won’t be a world revamp but that’s honestly all I want. I really don’t care about the old gods or the void or the afterlife, and I hope we’re done with dragons for a long while. I’m not the biggest fan of them. I just want to go somewhere cold and deadly.

Don’t like it? Then like. Don’t play it

Has been neat that several zones have gotten revamps since… theramore’s change, maybe winterspring could change considering the cave with intergalactic portals. :world_map::robot:

edit: Sorry, forgot you hated the void stuff but I assume that’s where the void will appear. :robot::sweat_drops:

Same, honestly. A world revamp is the only thing that would get me excited, and it’s something that I have wanted since Legion. Even just a graphical update would make the difference for me at this point.

Damn that’s a hard question. I’m not sure. I don’t want to complain about dragon riding etc because I don’t want the developers to stop trying new things. I want them to continue making NEW dungeons and raids. Maybe some more focus on raiding and bring the appeal back to them. I don’t hate any expansions, I have my least liked ones for sure. I just want them to tone down on the pandering in their story telling, it feels so forced and it should just happen passively. That’s probably my main complaint. Other than that, I’d like to see them get a bit more creative and stop recycling old mechanics and old m+ mechanics.

I want the next expansion to feel new and different, non complicated, fun, addictive that appeals to EVERYONE. Not a minority group. I’m cool with appreciation of culture and groups but when the main focus is that, it feels really forced. There are MANY cultures and backgrounds that play WoW and I’d like to see them pander to all of us.

light vs void war with class halls making a return

Anything but another Island Vacation with min island vacation patches.

They need to stop the trope go back to the old world (Azeroth’s Classic 2 continents) Find a way to make a storyline there which by the end fixes the Giant Sword left by Sargeras 3 expansions ago.Alongside Sweeping up the Ashes of the dead tree. Fix any plot holes or unfinished Alliance Horde issues. Bring an enemy in which we have not really had a chance to encounter.Get rid of Dragonriding for any future expansion is my main hope but Highly unlikely due to whatever reason people liking it despite it’s overwhelming flaws.

Do something like this over an Island Vacation where said island appears out of thin air and was never spotted by all the Zepplins and Air ships the last X amount of years because that never made sense past Pandaria. But seeing as Blizzard is most likely a quarter or more the way through the next expansion already any Ideas here will maybe (as in never) go towards the next expansion.

The mists surrounding the continent essentially shrouded the continent. Ships got lost in it and couldn’t find their way through. We actually see this in the Pandaria intro until the mists part and reveal the continent.

Basically, magical mist is magical.

Sorry but all signs(the Season 4 Blue Dragon Mount, the fact that the Number of Old Gods in the WC3 Manual is equal to the number of Dragon Aspects in Day of the Dragon, Vyranoth’s suspicious resemblance to the Winter Queen, N’Zoth’s statement of drowning the first, Mawsworn Magic looking like GW2 Void Magic, the Ice Dragon Malygos’s charge being to regulate but not hoard Magic similar to how Dragon Magic in GW2 must be regulated but not hoarded and the fact that Maldraxxus means Evil Dragon) indicate we are getting a Dragonvoid Expansion in the Shadowlands.

Blizzard is finally getting down to putting their original plan of 6 Dragon Gods that filter out the Void ingame for the next Expansion.

If I am right then that Rainbow Mawsworn Death Magic is the Void of Death just as that Purple-Blue Stuff is the Void of Shadow.

Of course that means the Void of Light is Rainbow-White with no Black at all.

I hope it’s one without weekly timegate.

I stopped doing DF content entirely over two thirds of a year ago because it’s worthless dealing with people over weekly throttles. Just let me play at my own pace and don’t burn me for missing weeks with no makeups.

Not holding out any hope though, it seems Blizzard did the final double down on timegate and will just move “steering” baits around rather than just let people grind for progression at their own pace.

I just farm legacy xpacs most months, and play the AH the first month of a raid tier. Gear progression is dead in this game due to timegate, only cosmetics and gold feel viable still as prog. Albeit gear progression was ruined hard enough I’d rather miss out on mogs and mounts in the trading post and from current content than be baited to play through bad systems design.

Not like Blizz corporate cares though, so I’m not sure why I even comment my opinions still.

I agree. A timelines expansion would be BIS.

Some neat example timelines I’d like to see:

  • Timeline where it was Stormwind and Varian Wrynn that fell to the Scourge, not Lordaeron
  • Timeline where Cairne won the Mak’gora against Garrosh
  • Grand Alliance/Blood Horde Timeline
  • Timeline if the Horde invaded in the era of Arathor vs Amani. We’re talking old, shamanistic humans versus demon blood-fueled Horde.
  • Timeline if Neltharion WASN’T corrupted.

I hope Thrall comes back and/or they put a lot more emphasis on developing the children/next generation of all the hero’s they have killed off… especially the Orcs.

There are just not enough prominant Orcs left in the franchise… Mankrik still slaughtering quilboar? Promote that guy already.

How about a timeline where Mankrik’s wife doesn’t die?
