Depends on the opinion.
I respect people who are still playing the game (We all have to pick our battles).
I do not respect people who think the allegations are “okay” or some sort of bizarre left wing conspiracy theory.

Why is having an agreement on this topic fundamental to your friendship? In the scope of what matters in friendship, this isn’t anything.
Realize that the friendship you have is based on things other than this, and probably always was. I don’t know which of you takes which stance, but if you can move past it do so.
Kind of hard to give advice on this.
You could just talk about other things too.
If you feel strongly about it though, there’s lots of other people in the world to be friends with.

Fair point lemme explain. So he and me had a disagreement over blizzard employee saying consumers were at fault. I tried to explain my point of view saying blizzard shouldnt be blaming consumers for their toxic work enviroment but he believes i wasnt understanding the point. And kept being dismissive.

Im sorry everyone for asking this. I just like the guy and don’t want our disagreement to be the end of our friendship. I just needed insight ill close the thread.
So you said if Blizzard is allowing employees to be sexually harassed or face pay discrimination than it is Blizzard’s fault and you’re friend said no those crimes happened because the consumers are okay with those crimes?
If I summarized it correctly I would stop being friends with them. But I make a conscious effort not to be friends with stupid people so your mileage may vary.
It’s a video game. No one should lose a close friend over a stupid game.
