This is for Chinese not anywhere else…so the fake outrage is from literally a neckbeard…
Now if they implement this on any other servers outside of China then yes the outrage would be justified

But this just shows you the extent to where the Chinese government will control its people

Were you perhaps born with a bad case of the stupids?

We don’t live in China so I’m sure we’ll be fine.

Blizzard are more then welcome to add more stuff based round China but if they do decide when i’m allowed to log on and play (granted they do that now with dailies) but if it gets far worse i’d just quit and i’d assume others would too.

Blizzard are dumb but not THAT dumb but nothing is ever set in stone.

I’d never watch that racist drivel, but just wanted to say that China has always had different models for Undead due to cultural sensitivities. It’s similar to the undead not showing bones option in SL.

Apparently I live in China thats freakin weird because it looks like America

Then I’ll take my money somewhere else? Like it’s not difficult to move on lol

Well to be fair nothing in the video was racist…
But hopefully eye opening to the extent of the Chinese government controlling it’s people

People’s eyes weren’t open before this? And I’m not talking about this video. I’m talking about The Quartening.

This be known sis, and the sorry state of WoW China tells us everything we need to know

I hate censorship and it is true what they did was stupid but the real issue is there is nothing we can do about it.

Plenty vote with their wallet but cmon China is the money bag i don’t even play hearthstone and i know alot of people who don’t but it don’t matter China makes the rules there.

Remember there was some backlash when they did it and it didn’t even dent it you either have two choices these days

1 - Quit every game that bends knee to china.

2 - Continue playing and watch your game become censored

Problem is Blizzard ain’t gonna change unless everyone suddenly quit.

Honestly I don’t believe a lot of people know how bad it is over there that they have fully implemented social credit score

One of my friends over there just got a ding on it because the dog broke away from the leash…that’s how insane it is over there

I am really getting tired of “slippery slope” arguments. Steam’s treatment of Chinese clients is meant to fall in line with Chinese government regulation. Preventing that kind of stuff from impacting our versions of those games doesn’t require us to get mad at Steam; it requires us to make sure our government doesn’t become overly-authoritarian.

This is purely a political issue, and Steam is adhering to Chinese politics in order to conduct business there. Why on earth would nighttime bans ever be a thing in the U.S., Canada, or Latin America?
