Issue resolved thanks to a GM. Turns out the stormrook follow up chain had not been completed and the rescue follows it.

Really, skipping the campaign should NOT be the way to implement this. The correct way is autocompleting the campaign. This mean that all those quests, for that character, should be marked as completed. Whatever they should be given any reward or not for that is another discussion.

PTR.

Would this not be better suited in the PTR forums?

I was thinking about skipping on some of my guys but I guess that’s a bad idea. Thanks for the warning.

Skipped what exactly? I just thought it skipped the leveling campaign. I still have a campaign to do on my alts that skipped a campaign after hitting 80. I dont remember it much, but it includes the thunder birbs and beach day training.

I thought by skipping the leveling campaign you were prompted to find Moria to do the 80 one.

That’s what I just experienced. Alt that never bothered handing in Something on the Horizon until just now. Prompted me to skip the Levelling campaign, in 2 spots, then Brann has a quest to speak to Moira “A time to come together”, this I’m not able to skip unless Moira has something.

Yep! Exactly. And for my alts that skipped, there is still the max level campaign and I also have a campaign icon above someone’s head inside the keep in Dornogal near where Khadgar would be.

Real bummer cant do that till the chpt 5 campaign is done.

Are we sure? My DK just hit 80 last night, skipped the leveling campaign through whatever quest turn in I had from Brann and this is available for me to do:

The Lingering Shadows questline is now available with Patch 11.0.7. This questline continues the story of The War Within and acts as a bridge to Patch 11.1: Undermined’s storyline, giving more light on the mysterious haranir.

And I did and if you had read my entire quote you would see what I was referencing. Do you though by all means.

I did that stuff, but cant do the khadgar stuff unless campaign is fully done.

I wouldn’t worry about it.
I haven’t had any issues yet. The skip is purely the leveling campaign and it “catches you up” to the current story.
But you should see a ? For every max level campaign or quest in dorn.

Did you do the actual level 80 storyline? The skip just skips the leveling storyline, only the stuff pre-80. And it does mark it as complete, which is why you’re able to do endgame storylines starting with Lingering Shadows and The Fleet Arrives.

I skipped on a few characters. You then got to do the lvl 80 campaign. I do not know if there is/was a skip for that. Try going to where that quest line starts where you see the ships come in

What does your quest log say right now for the character you want to do the Khadgar quest on? Does it tell you to continue the story by picking up either Lingering Shadows or The Fleet Arrives?

What Khadgar stuff? I’m sill a bit lost on that.

The Lingering Shadows questline doesn’t involve him at all. I just finished it. Got the achievement for it my DK who hasn’t done anything else.

I’m still a bit confused, since Wowhead says the only quest that needs done for 11.1 is Lingering Shadows.

The Dalaran follow up quest chain,“Survivors Guilt” starts with Khadgar and cannot be done if you miss any of the post leveling quests as you have to complete the entire chain and chase down xal in the church and rescue him first or he is not in his wheelchair as a quest giver. Once that chain is completed and you transfer your character to PTR, then you can get the quest for going to undermine. Without doing it you cannot get the quest on ptr…
