(DELETE/Solved for now) Doubled Latency on US Realms (OCE player)

I’ve seen a couple of similar posts already but I’m not quite sure those are all completely applicable to me, given that I’m an Australian player who primarily plays on US servers, so higher ping is just part of the territory by default…

Anyway, took a week break, and I come back to 400-500+ on the US realms I play on (Wyrmrest, mainly, plus whatever ones my buddies are on). Usually I’m sitting around 250-300 on these servers, which is tolerable.

OCE realms I’m sitting at a stable 60ms, so I’m not sure if the issue is on my end, my ISP’s end, or Blizzard’s end.

I’ve done the cycling/restarts, etc. I’ve done the trace routes and run WinMTR a few times as well, except I’m not that tech savvy when it comes to connection issues. So, any insight would be greatly appreciated.

This is an issue that needs to see a blue post, I am a US Player and experience the same latency issues. The Latency increase has been unrealistic for gameplay and has been an issue of mine since Blizzard removed sharding from classic wow.

"I have already done all of the suggested troubleshooting in this article and it has still not been fixed. https://us.battle.net/support/en/article/112214

Well, it seems to have returned to normal for me, at least for the time being. I did find myself connecting through a VPN on the worst of times, however, which had me at a stable ~220 (which was must better than the 400+).

I was experiencing 350 or so on my OCE toon during a key though. I didn’t determine whether it was the same issue though.
