Delete professions

Imagine having your own blacksmith, tailor, engineer, etc in your home in the upcoming player housing. Instead of leveling up your profession you level up your crafters instead with rare materials, patterns, etc… I’m sure this has already been done in some form before but it sounds interesting to me.

That was called Garrisons. It did in fact happen and it was the closest professions ever came to being enjoyable.
