Yeah, but, but, that would make sense! We would have fun doing that! So of course that can’t happen! /s
In Activision’s eyes, that high of a reward would reduce in-game player time (since we’re getting a high reward for a seemingly “easy” task). When in reality it would make the anima grind less strenuous, which in turn would result in players actually having fun, which would probably encourage players to want to either keep playing, and/or return week after week to continue playing.
I keep seeing threads about how WoW’s playerbase is at an all time low since Shadowlands release and week after week I can’t help but see where these players are coming from. It makes me sad. ![]()
But upgrading your faction base and collecting all of the appearances, pets and mounts was supposed to take ~aaaaalllll expannnnsiiiionnnn~ /flailing muppet arms
…yeah no, I’ll say again, covenant features should have rolled out gradually through patches so that people could get to a point where they felt like they were “finished” for a while instead of having the carrot dangled two years away, making people feel like they were plinking away at a huge boulder with a spoon.
And here I was quite excited to see that most of my weekly 1000 anima would be easily done with this. Yet someone must find a way to complain.
Unlocking all of this stuff from doing activities in the game only to see costs like 5k anima and these other resources we have to go out of our way to get is actually a real drag.
You will have more than 1k anima from doing the 20 world quests required to finish this quest.
So your definition of fun isn’t a better game but a higher stakes slot machine?
Perhaps! But it shall depend on which quests I decide to do and it means they do not have to be the focus.
Besides, there is nothing wrong with extra anima to me!
Anima is the wall for the casual game. I haven’t bothered to level most of my alts, because why? The anima farm is insane to get anything done.
Except when people finish something we get complaints of nothing to do. It’s a lose-lose situation.
How much anima is needed to run high end Mythic+? Not sure, but that could be the reason.
I just wish the sanctum upgrades were account wide. I do not wish to do that on alts again : /
I agree it should be more substantial of an anima reward. 750 anima is just pathetic.
I don’t have anything to do with the 9k anima I currently have. What would I do with an additional 10k !!
Give it to me?
Yeah I know you can’t but by napkin estimate, I’d like roughly 3,500,000 more anima (maybe a little competitionist of me, but yes, that is an honest estimate)
If only we can sell each other’s anima lol.
Blizz doesn’t want you finishing your Renown quest by doing a weekly.
Really? I wouldn’t. Because I go after gear quests and rep quests.
Ooof 20 World quests? Thats about 15 more than I normally do in a week.
This weekly + the world boss = renown quest. Even if you only do rep / gold WQs.
