Agree mostly. I already have reduced my game play by quite a bit.
On a side note I was here in Vanilla. The game was easier for the average casual than it is now. The raids back than were hard because half the people in the raid were not very good players. But it was still very fun. Many of the players I started this game with like my Motherinlaw no longer play because every expansion gets more and more technical and there is no longer a place for those people. We traded away millions of casual players for a few hardcore people.

They’re not original. You’re not some prophet with a profound new thought or idea. These exact same comments are made every month by different players for as long as I’ve been on the forums (at least 5 years).
WoW is not dying just because you don’t like a specific aspect about the current gameplay. For every one of you claiming WoW is dead on the forums, significantly more people are in-game having fun playing.
I don’t know if you’re just trying to be dramatic, or what, but WoW will survive, even if you quit. And most of you won’t even quit. You’ll just whine on the forums while you’re waiting in your LFG queue.

I didn’t know we were already at the end of Shadowlands. Next expansion definitely coming in a few months and we already saw everything SL has to offer.

I agree with some points but I disagree with others.
The Maw sucks. Yes. Covenant system does little to change the fact current Shadowlands content is basically the same as BfA; just reskinned differently. Getting pi geonholed into a covenant if you’re a min/maxer? Yeah that’s the life of a min/maxer. If your class falls off the fotm meta, you switch to the meta class/spec. That’s what the game for min/maxers have always been. If you aren’t min/maxing, you can choose w.e. you want.
Questing sucks and the only interesting quest lines are time gated; yes I agree this sucks. I don’t understand why CAMPAIGN quests which aren’t tied to player power or actual progress with end game content is time gated since things are unlocked based on rep/renown anyways. I agree it sucks every time there MUST be a fotm class/spec instead of actually balancing classes and as SL honeymoon phase ends, a lot of suscribers will probably quit. But that’s not a problem with Shadowlands as an xpac itself. It’s a problem with WoW as a whole.
Either those players outgrew WoW or WoW outgrew them. Not all complaints are invalid but it’s nowhere near the worst expansion. Class balancing and some things aren’t in a good place right now, sure, but it’s the beginning of the expansion. Literally phase 1. We don’t know if this expansion will be complete within 1 year or 2 years. There’s still a long way to go before we figure out how bad this xpac is.
