It’s ok for some things to actually stay exclusive. What’s the point of all the time and effort we put into it knowing they were going away for good, when they turn around and just hand it out to everyone for free.

I didn’t play in legion and have never asked for the forms. It has always, though, amazed me at the mentality ppl have that when others gain they lose. I think the “they weren’t here so oh well” falls short if you look at it like this: it’d be one thing if it were something that got released every so often and you just missed that particular batch. However, this is like the first and only time they’ve done that. Also, I agree with your framing it all realistically. Let’s be real, y’all pushed some buttons on a keyboard for a while. This isn’t the nobel prize or anything with real world significance.

Yep the argument against always sounds like that “all the time and effort” “it was so hard and challenging” NO IT WASNT! you may have died a few times but it was brain dead easy, especially when you could just out gear it. You guys acting like you had to kill the lich king for 100 weeks straight for the appearance to drop or something, if that was the case then I would agree with you but it eventually became basically free due to outgearing and it wasn’t as hard as you guys are pretending it was…I mean the feral appearance was pretty much just running back and forth dodging balls and killing adds…stop acting like you saved Azeroth or something to earn it.

Doesn’t matter whether it was “hard” or not. It was meant to be earned in a limited time and that’s what blizzard did. It should stay at that.
Blizzard would be wise not to cave to all the whining entitlement.

I am glad it was easy for you OP. I had to spend weeks practicing, tons of gold on consumables, watching guide after guide, even having people in voice chat watching me reminding me to watch out for X, Y, or Z.
For you it was trivial, for me it was one of the hardest earned things I have ever done. For them to diminish that would feel like a slap in the face.

I achieved the healer appearance in the 1st week it was available with garbage LFR or lower gear. Something that many people in mythic gear were still struggling with. Don’t talk to me about hard earned appearances that need to be given out for free to everyone now.

People who were not there for the mage tower event should not and will not ever deserve to get them.
there are all of the other artifact appearances you can still obtain.

Really? It’s the newer players that are like “oh, limited time thin? Okay no biggie, they just look cool”
It’s those people who suddenly rolled a new character and are like “OMG THAT WAS FOR THIS CLASS!? I WANT IT NOW”
I earned a few, and although I had this Druid in Legion, I didn’t get the hulk bear and that’s the one I want the most. But it’s like the challenge mode stuff from MoP…should we just allow those to be bought off a vendor for 25g a piece?
Get real. There’s nothing wrong with allowing things to be exclusive. I mean there’s no point in doing them if you know they’re just gonna be handed out for free in a year or two anyway.
As for difficulty - changed depending on role and spec. Paladins tanking was easy. Bear was easy ONCE you got the correct legendary for it. Rogue Assassination was easy, but I wasn’t able to get it on my Holy Paladin for whatever reason

Hell yeah it was faceroll easy! 100+ runs. Having to basically be perfect with 0 mistakes at all in the final run. Every consumable available for every run. Lust drums on every run you made it far enough for. People in mythic raid gear struggled (and most failed) with it so it musta been faceroll easy.
Still can’t figure out why a 51 hunter is worried about a bear form though. Kinda requires being a druid.

They were easy bottom line…id like to see your research on all these mythic geared players who couldn’t do them. I did it on my druid all specs, hunter rogue and lock and they were very easy to do after you ran them a few times to learn the fights…ok the guardian druid one was tough, but its sad to hear about how something so easy to accomplish after a few runs was the hardest thing you have ever had to do in your life…mythic 1’s are harder than the mage tower (for most specs).

Bottom line is things become easier, less valuable, more available over time. You don’t have a Mickey Mantle rookie card here. People had to work their asses off in BC to get raid gear. Now you can just blow through it and get it basically for free if you still want it for mog. Are we to now rage about how hard we worked for old raid gear?
Let’s just say for arguments sake that the forms returned in some other capacity that wasn’t free. What’s the problem now?

The only entitled people here are the ones who think they are the only ones who deserve the forms because they played during the dead final 5 months of legion and blizz decided to release moderately easy to achieve appearances to get subs to come back before BFA over 2 years ago.
Why not give others a shot at different colors? why do you care if others can earn them? SELFISHNESS! its been years guys, let new druids earn the appearances, we aren’t talking about rogue or hunter crappy weapon models…the ghost druid and hulk bear forms are very drastic changes and should be earnable by all druids and this is coming from someone who earned them all.

Goes back to my McRib argument. McDonalds brings the McRib back between certain times. Crying because you didn’t get it when it’s available and demanding they bring it back outside of when they said it was available simply because you want it now, doesn’t mean anything. They’re not going to give in to your crying.
Just be happy they let you go back and get the Artifact appearances still
