Gonna be a no from me. Faction divide, and faction differences should be able to be told. Pandaren were a mistake, in my opinion, in that they’re neutral. We should be seeking to make blood elves and void elves as different as possible. Not making them the same.
Void elves should have received more void customization to highlight their race as a pioneer into the darkest cosmic force.

I wish Void Elves got more void oriented customization myself.
More customization is great, but since we’re getting a limited number of options I’d rather reinforce the themes of the race rather than the idea of what Blizzard gave us that race in place of.

Players can enjoy something and it can still be a mistake. Just like void elves getting pale skin and being turned into helf lite is a mistake.

You can have bright crimson hair from all the helf blood if you like. I’d be overjoyed to let ya have that customization.

A few select hairstyles between the two, but not all of them. Blood Elves have a few iconic styles that should stay exclusive to them. Any of the void-y hairstyles are an instant no as well. Additionally the shorter ears should be available to Void Elves.

Much as I love Blood elves, I’d swap them for Void elves. Alliance get’s the High elves they’ve been wanting forever, and the misunderstood Void elves are part of the faction of misfits.

It is a bit ironic that the Void Elves fit the Horde’s theme of outcast underdogs more at this point. Cleansing the Sunwell kind of killed anything interesting about the Blood Elves.

It will probably happen but I hope it doesn’t. Hair styles and hair colors are the only things left to show a difference between Blood and Void elves now.
Would really hope that blizz would take into consideration that many of us would like to keep some differences.

Oh you’d need to completely redo the story from the ground up. Very possibly certain races wouldn’t be available like Worgen or Draenei.
It being a mistake or not is entirely subjective? If you’ve been on the PTR Alliance side, you’ve probably seen just how many people wanted normal skin tones for the Velves. Thalassian Elves haven’t even been unique to the Horde, and now they’re never going to be(not that Blizzard ever hinted otherwise). And since Blizzard confirmed these new options for our Velves are supposed to represent High Elf customization, it shouldn’t be too wild for us to get this last thing.
