Dragons are so far in few

Pets are cosmetic, so are mounts

If dragon mounts followed lore, your black dragon mount would instantly try to kill you

The argument is that the dragons are sentient.

However, the proto drakes aren’t supposed to be… they’re just beasts. So… yes please.

I hope not. Poor things have already suffered enough. Besides wouldn’t they be huge? And, thus, not able to enter buildings with the player?

Dragons are intelligent and sentient beings. That’d be like slapping a leash on a Tauren. And that’s slavery.

What kind of slavery, is up to you. :woman_shrugging: I mean the bad kind. But I can see this being taken another way. :joy:

Tamable Dragons? You never know, there may be Dragons into that sorta thing. With sentience comes kinks. :grin:

Yeah but OP said dragons so I was thinking big form :slight_smile:

We have whelpings as battle pets so this might be ok. Players can say they found a lost helpless one and decided to take it in and raise it. A whelping wouldn’t have as much power but should still be a good sidekick.

EDIT: But even if I were a whelping I wouldn’t want to take orders from some puny hunter who is dumber than me :joy:

I would hate to see Dragons diminished to a hunter pet.

level 1 starter zone critter is higher up on the respectable animal hierarchy than a hunter pet.
