You need to perform a full UI reset. Leaving the ‘Interface’ folder alone allows corruption to remain. Many players don’t understand that:
- Shutting off addons doesn’t properly reset the UI, allowing corruption to remain.
- Corruption can occur or remain present even if one runs no addons, and never has.
- Performing a full UI reset is the only proper way to troubleshoot UI problems.
Be sure to shut off / disable / uninstall addon managers before you do the UI reset. Most are set to auto-launch and auto-update addons; addon managers set like this could sneak in and undo your UI reset before you even perform a test.
If done properly, upon launching the game, you’ll see the opening cinematics, be asked to accept agreements, and won’t see any addons installed.
Then test again.
If the problems remain, you can reverse the reset via the instructions at the link above. If the problems resolve, then you can re-install your addons one-by-one, testing your bags after each install. If or when the problem comes back, you will have found your culprit. The next step would then be to take the issue to the addon author’s Curseforge page or Github page and post a support request.
