A little over 2 weeks ago I asked to see if they had any intention of merging penance to wild growth. it is shameful to see a server like penance be allowed to exist when you merged a server like lava lash a while ago that was, at the time, healthier than penance was then by a factor of like 5.
Today at 9am Tuesday AEST there was 4344 total auctions on the penance alliance AH there was not enough mats on the AH to fill a single Azeroth Commerce Authority shipment I had in my bags, not one of the 8 I had. This server is dead, it is not dying but dead. Blizzard told us we would not make a wrong decision when it came to what server we chose as they would address servers as they need to. Well you kinda need to now. I know moving an OCE server to a US server is bad from a latency point of view but at this point it feels like the right choice, people have been asking for a while now.
Re rolling is an option of sorts but with runes and gear and fun stuff that we got before the server died will be lost. it also is a sticking point for so many people to lose the time they spent leveling the character and professions. Re leveling a character you already have and put loads of time into feels like a chore.
Please Blizzard do Penance a solid and merge us with Wild Growth. For future iterations of seasons dont even give us the false hope of oceanic servers just tell us no and make us roll on a US server or just not play.
