Just remove this ability from the game, seriously all it is used for is to help gold sellers find herbs while they hide in spots you have to fly hack to get to. The ability literally has no other use other than that. It isn’t needed in any raids and its meager usefulness in bgs doesn’t warrant it still being around. If this ability (and shaman farsight) was removed from the game the only people it would hurt are the gold sellers and it would hurt them bad. Screw the “No Changes” crowd there’s already been changes and removing this ability from the game will help aliviate some of the problems caused by gold selling lotus farmers.

Why do shoddy bandage fixes that take away enjoyment from players?
Eagle Eye is fun. It’s not our fault Blizzard refuses to take responsibility for the gross negligence of bots and farmers running wild.
They should nip it at the bud, and stop licking the bootheels of their stockholders.

Not that I disagree with the sentiment, but I would frequently use Eagle Eye to scout the Nesingwary camp. If there’s a swarm of enemy players there, find something else to do/kill.

Eagle eye is not the problem.
The problem is a failure by Blizzard to enforce the rules.

i mean cant you use eagle eye yourself as a “legit” player and just be afk farming lotus yourself?
Or they could invest in staff to handle these problems the right way.

Because we all know that eagle eye/farsight outside of very few applications has no real value outside of the bot spam mate. You’re being purposefully argumentative because you’re either desperate for troll attention on the forums or because you benefit from it in some way (likely doing the same thing). Or you’re not being purposefully argumentative at all and are instead clueless.
Delete yourself from the game instead.

because you cant think of a use for the skill does not mean others cant.

i dont care if you use the skill or not but it seems to me if you leveled a hunter, got 300 herb, sat in a lotus zone, checked in from time to time with eagle eye yourself , why you too could have this “easy” lotus yall keep saying is botted to death.
i dont have an herb character, never bought lotus, never plan to buy lotus, never botted in wow. so i dont see how i’ve benefited from this “exploit” you all keep saying…
