Man I almost forgot how much I hate delayed access.
I mean I get that the shareholders call it “early access” but nobody’s getting access early.
now we just have this system where people with less money are arbitrarily held back.
honestly it’s not even the 20 bucks. I would gladly pay a higher subscription if this kind of stuff didn’t happen.
But I’m never going to be one of those people that gives up money for some premium garbage that used to just be normal.
I forgot how much this killed my excitement in the last expansion and honestly I didn’t think about it much until I came to the forums this morning hearing about how much gold people had already made from getting gathering professions up early.
I used to do that! back when a subscription to the game was all you needed to access the game.
So you’re mad…. that people get to play before you?
I’ve been playing since 2009 and I’ve NEVER felt held back by anything. And I’ve bought early access, but I also dont play an xpac for about two weeks after release anyways because I let everyone else get ahead so things are quieter to level in. Works everytime.
Just sit back and enjoy the game, dont worry about ‘being held back’ thats not even a thing.
I don’t disagree with you, OP. But I also strongly encourage you to just get on board with it. It’s just the way of things now. We’re well past the point of ever changing it back. Just accept that the “early access” price is now the standard price and just enjoy yourself.
Meaaa, first one I haven’t pre ordered since it became a thing. I really don’t like being a 3 day “beta tester” so I’m good. It wasn’t that long of a wait.
If it makes you feel any better I did a bunch of quests to get bloody tokens for PvP gear. Only to find out all honor/currencies are being reset back to zero.
Why do you people always want to create nonsensical drama where there is none?
Learn to use gold if you don’t want to spend real money.
No one is “held back.” No one cares that someone else is level 90 with nothing else to do or show for it, because nothing end game is available yet. And even Haranir aren’t released yet.
No one paid for early access. We paid for all of the digital goodies. Early access is a freebie tacked on.
And you’ll still be able to make gold. Nothing is stopping you.
Your complaints are purely from how you twisted things in your own view.
It’s not as good as last expansion, as so many more people were double gathering this go around.
Plus, I’m sitting on 9.5m gold right now. I brought in over 12+m last expansion and paid for all of my game time, epic edition, etc. I also give quite a bit away and supply my guild’s raids.
I did all of this without making much gold during early access last go around and I won’t make much this go around, either. I’ve never double gathered. Heck, I don’t gather at all.
I missed server first herbalism by like 5 seconds back in mists. It sucks that that is now a premium experience that doesn’t come with the cost of a subscription.
