So basically. Corruptions get removed. Essences stay. And we are squished. Many things won’t scale properly and will be broken.
In either direction. Pre patch literally means nothing all t does it break the game and put us in a state where we have no new real content but all old content is brokeN.

No corruptions in prepatch already makes it 10x better than current BFA.

You think they are going to properly scale old content when they are having so much trouble scaling shadowlands? I did Antorus in Legion after pre patch it was not fun everyone was severely nerfed bosses took 2-3 min longer to kill than they did before.
They are not going to bother fixing scaling in BFA when they are working on SL.
Kill times on bosses will be longer. Mythic+ will be harder.

I’ve played this game since vanilla I know what pre patches are.
Also anyone with a brain knows.
Pre patch classes gets broken. You have half your abilities or ranks taken away to be given back at a latter level… except you can’t level and there is no new content and we don’t know when new content will come.
We are basically stuck in BFA with some of our abilities taken away. And all rewards gone.

Odd, I played on the PTR in every zone and I thought the scaling went pretty well. Better than how it is now in this excuse of an expansion.

Corruption accounts for like 60% of my damage so it will be like a super nerf playing after pre patch.
I was just thinking that, the mount was what almost a year? n’zoth I read saying January, so yeah a lot of time. I don’t understand these people…

I don’t understand why ya’ll are hyped about Pre patch… it’s literally just BFA but with broken ( as in not working ) classes and character.
Difference is that we’ll actually have something to do now – level alts. That’s my plan, anyway. What do we have with BFA in BFA? Corruption grinds? AP grinds? Grinds grinds? Grinding to do more grinds? Yikes forever. No thank you.
At least SL in BFA, as gloriously messy as it will be, we’ll have something new to do.

Already have all the stuff like atoc, mythic+15 mount ect. Its that I don’t want to play with nerfed broken chars for 2 months.
What specifically are you still working on humanity, Azeroth’s Champion? Trying to do arena myself and its looking like a crawl. I guess 10/11 it is. Shame pre-patch and expansion should have been delayed to Nov/Dec respectively (even before the recent announcement).
Not to sound like a stinker, but someone who takes 10 or more months to get AotC is probably not ahead of the curve. Hehe!
I want pre-patch so I can finally kill Mythic N’Zoth - I am not a CE raider and that’s fine. Nerf it! Let me do it!

You can level now. It’s literally the same content. You’ll be leveling in BFA or outlands or draenor or northerner.

I mean, I’m not for delaying anything, but this is just outright false.
People were still getting AotCs and CEs up to the 12th month in all other previous expansions.
