Delay the Pre-Patch

If Shadowlands isn’t coming out for another 2 months or so, then there is no good reason to release the pre-patch in a mere 2 weeks. So much content is going to get cut when it launches. A lot of people still looking to (legitimately) get AotC or the Brutosaur, or a myriad of other stuff going away.

You’re going to essentially give us a barebones BfA for 2 months with a revamped leveling experience. I have exactly 13 days left on my sub and I will have no reason to re-sub until Shadowlands drops if that’s the case.

You do like money, don’t you…?

I politely disagree with this feedback. Please keep on course with releasing pre-patch.

No, thanks. I am looking forward to prepatch. Who knows, maybe what would have been our shortest prepatch will be the longest. XD I’d rather have the revamped leveling and customization to play with until they get SL sorted.

Edit: Typo :stuck_out_tongue:

I… I…

Ditto. No other thought. Get me out of BFA. It wasn’t bad, but it’s been here for too long.

AOTC isn’t going away with the pre-patch though?

Hell no.

I can’t stand not being motivated to do any endgame.

I’ve had more than enough time to get everything I care about done for BFA.

I spend most time in wow in the old world anyways so I couldn’t care less.

K bye. I myself will play with class changes and level characters.

I’ve had to deal with crusty-looking player models and specs with fundamentally broken or unfun rotations for longer than you’ve had to worry about longboi or 8.3’s AOTC, so, nah.

You are going to met with nothing but opposition by most forum participants. it is clear to me that very few actually participate in endgame activities, and even fewer at a high level. This only affects us, sadly. I’m just trying to find out if I undun can I still receive a beta invite to resub

ehhhh… ill still be stabbing people in Stormwind <3. I support the delay, needs to be done correct and its current state aint it.

Prepatch should come out on time. It might not be much, but it removes the cancer of Corruptions. The expansion being delayed, though sad, is still a good thing.

The prepatch will hold over the players until more content comes out. It, at the very least, needs to be on schedule.

They are releasing the prepatch that early because they know that delaying it at relatively “The last minute” was going to piss people off, and they are hoping the prepatch event being a bit longer will apease them. News to them, it wont, they should know this by now.

Shoulda released the customization stuff in 8.3 in the looks expansion.

100% disagree with the original poster. as someone that has downed m nzoth 7 times now, has tons of alts, a crap ton of achievs done and almost nothing left to do, the pre patch seems like a god send with a new way to approach lvling chars, as well as class/spec changes to experience. the sooner corruption is banished from this game the better, as i am completely sick of playing fire on nzoth each week then killing it first raid night, only to have to find ways to amuse myself for the rest of the week. yeah, i basically just play wow, thats on me, but this seems like a good thing to put out there.

All they need to do in regards to prepatch is add a buff for legion raids to make running them solo not a total slog like it is on the ptr. BFA endgame is over but mogs are 4 lyfe.

Well for one, corruption going away is a helluva good reason to release the prepatch now. I’m literally counting the days . I also want to get used to all the class changes coming on my characters … about 4 or 5 alts I really care about.

So yeah, definitely worth launching it on 10/13.
