Delay pres changes until 10.1

We’re in the middle of a tier and have been playing this TA → reversion build for its entirety. Why make a sweeping change to the LB ramp/TA applications at this point?

Why not adjust some auras/nerf TA 20% like you intended and allow this playstyle to finish the tier? Happy to see adjustments to bring outliers into alignment but changing a playstyle in the middle is very frustrating.

When 10.0.7 hits we’ll be very very close to killing M rasz and now suddenly I have to learn an entirely new playstyle/timers/etc. Seems like something you shouldn’t be adjusting mid-tier. I get that you might want data for 10.1 but you can gather this data from raid testing on the PTR.

You’re impacting a lot of players by doing this change at this point in time. I’d love to see these TA echo spread/LB changes pushed until 10.1 especially when we’re changing tier sets/etc.

So agree with you about pushing it until 10.1. The new tier set might have better interactions with whatever vision blizz has for preservation. This whole situation is so annoying.

I’m actually on the other side of this mainly as a m+ player, though. I’m glad theyre pushing it before 10.1 because depending how hard this hits us in m+ (it will hit us for sure. How hard, though?) and somewhat in raids, i will be rerolling and have time to gear and get another class ready for 10.1. I’ve only spent like 3 months on the evoker, i dont have attachments to it.

Not only that, but by every metric, rdruid and evoker run EXTREMELY neck and neck in m+ content. There is no doubt in my mind that druid will blow past evoker in m+ and raids. Thus there will be one singular class sitting at the top of all other healers since evoker will be more in line with other healers.

I also mainly pug, so the only way im getting invited to +20 keys and higher consistently is playing FotM unfortunately despite how capable other healers are due to terrible community perception and tier lists existing.

I think you could get this data on PTR. They’ll have m+ and raid stuff on PTR for a while so you could play with it there and figure out. Don’t see why you would go LIVE with these changes when we’re at the end of the season and people are finishing mythic prog/m+ title pushing.

And actually the disparity between evoker/rdruid is already huge in 20+ keys.

If you look at rio the healer spec in 20+ keys is:

32% rdruid
23% evoker
… 9% is the next highest?

So rdruid already gaps evoker by > 40% lol it’s going to be 60-70% after these changes and they’ll be #1 by quite a mile.

The gap between the two is due to the issue of Mark of the Wild and of course the obvious differences between the two.
Rdruid = more healing, Brez and single player damage reduction (CD)
Prevoker = more dps, Lust and damage reduction for the party (CD)

Even if to be honest, I expected this…
Since the evoker is practically a new class and I think they are still not very sure what kind of identity they can give it

This is actually incorrect..

In order to do high ST dmg on evoker you need to give up a lot of throughput. Most evokers on prog are dropping their ST dmg like on rasz and running HPS builds.

Evoker CAN do high ST throughput but requires 6-8 talent points whereas rdruid can hit 1 button and just heal to do high ST dmg. Evoker will always beat other healers on AOE simply because of living flame cleave w/ Fire Breath. But on ST most evokers will be around the same as a resto druid on ST throughput fights like rasz.
