See… that’s what I thought too, but literally none of my characters from 20 years are showing up when I came on to gripe about the lack of AH API when the servers went up.
I bet only 15% of players are above level 42. Looking at numbers in 2 different guilds that have hundreds of players. Could be wrong, but middle of the pack is absolutely not in the 40’s or 50’s.
Is still level 10 on fresh.
My son told me he was leveling super fast… he just hit 13. Told him that as long as he wasn’t last in our friends/family group, he was doing fine. Out of the 7 of us that are playing Fresh, only 2 of us have played Classic. OG Classic for me, the last go of Vanilla for his uncle. Everyone else has at minimum never level capped in any expac.
Man, I don’t know. I just defaulted to the last one I used, about a year ago.
I agree.
There’s no logical reason to have MC release 3 weeks in when it takes 80% of the player base longer than that just to hit 60.
This is nonsense.
The idea that somehow leveling is some giant multi month long grind is wild. Its posts like this that give classic vanilla players such a bad rep compared to other versions of the game.
Have an entire year to finish pre BC content. Don’t see a problem.
The average level time in vanilla is 10 days played. Since most of us are successful grown adults we average 2-3 hours a day max and less on weekends because we have family and friends. Now you can do the math and see why it takes that long.
It took me 7 days /played, take out my afk time and the 14 hours I spent grinding honored with Hydraxian and its closer to 5 as a warrior, the slowest leveler. Playing 3-4 hours a day on average will have you 60 by the second lockout if you have any idea how to level at all.
Also having to work isn’t a brag, not having to work is lmao.
God I wish I am only level 44 and that fomo is already starting to hit.
disagree with your assessment.
Hey, I like my Way of the House Husband life!.. for the first time in decades my eye isn’t twitching anymore.
You are an extreme player. Your average means nothing. The general vanilla average is 10 days, you can be as disappointed about that as you want.
Having a job shows you are a success. The rich run there companies, they do not sit at home sweating in vanilla wow.
I only want to be higher level because it will give me more liquidity to dump into the AH. Only 200g in goods so far. Those are rookie numbers IMO.
house husband? what is even that?
It’s like a housewife except the roles are reversed
Sounds like a studdmuffin. Would they make me go downstairs in the night when a rogue enters our kitchen?
I’m married, have kids, stay at home with the kids, and wife has a great job that she actually likes (Unlike me… ever).
For me, after working the last 25 years, (Banking > USAF > IT)… it’s the first time in my life I’m not showing constant stress issues.
I get it. I have to work like a dog but its because our landlord doubled our rent last year. Its insane what these people can get away with.
