I’ve heard from a few people that servers will be clustered in groups of 3. Where this information disseminates from, they nor I am aware. But it was from different groups, which does make me wonder where it has been stated.
Nevertheless, like you mentioned, I haven’t seen any offical information on the specific battlegroups either.
