Very heated topic, I know. But hear me out.
This phase in world of warcraft and the sheer amount of people WPvPing is something we will never seen again. If people want to PvP, they have to go out of their way to seek it out, instead of lazily queing for BG’s crowding around there. It’s something we don’t see in retail and definitely won’t see if Blizzard releases the old X-pacs.
It’s a pain in the backside for leveling, sure, but keep in mind we won’t see WPvP at this scale ever again. Definitely not in BC and once BGs come out. There will be WPvP, obviously, but not at this scale. And if you haven’t subbed in this period of time where the phasing is: you’d never be able to see it.
And really, if you think the game is unplayable due to WPvP why did you choose a PvP server which inheritly has a nasty reputation for this kind of stuff.
It irks me that since some players made the wrong decision about their playing experience (choosing a PvP server even though they have no intention/little interest to PvP) the people who actually enjoy all the WPvP and this very unique time in the phasing have to pay for it.
It should be out in January or the end of Decemeber. Enjoy the phases while they last, for we may not see them again. We don’t know what blizzard’s plans are for the future of classic wow, so why not savor it instead of rushing it?

to many times iv seen people complain about being ganked in a pvp server… go back to retail if you scrubs don’t like world pvp, making the classic experience unenjoyable with this bs of forcing more phases faster cause babies are crying for being ganked and never fighting back. retail made majority to soft for easy rewards

release BG’s but with 1 MAJOR change…DO NOT ADD CITY BATTLE MASTERS! Make us actually go TO the battleground instance portal out in the world. this will cause WPvP to happen in those zones. By putting the battle masters in the city you are screwing up WPvP once again due to people not being forced out into the world.
This is what I would like to see because then those zones would draw a lot of PvP players to them and would draw them away from camping the flight masters.
Good, WPvP isn’t that fun anyway. There’s a reason BG’s and arenas were introduced. They are objectively better.
Uh no. Release them ASAP. World PvP is pretty lame. Usually consists of either an AOE spam fest or riding for hours and only engaging in a few battles. It’s never fair and never get fun
They should have released them immediately once they saw it was a problem, no reason to spread this out longer, as they said they just have to turn things on no patch involved for phases.

No one really cares about people out and about World PvPing, World PvP has never been a big thing, and it’s literally just making people miserable. Except for the sadists inflicting the misery on others.
When it takes 20 mins to go from Thorium Point to Molten Core because of hundreds of horde players slaying everything in sight (or vice versa on alliance heavy servers).

Or, are waiting out their canceled sub remaining days, hoping blizzard makes a fix that allows them to have interest again, and if they don’t oh well, they are gone.
