No one wants to queue solo shuffle anymore. You win 4-5 rounds at 1800mmr and get like 20 points. Sit in the queue for a hour just to gain almost the same amount of raiting as you would in a 5min 3v3 match… ITS INSANITY… and Healer MMR is even WORSE can you believe it ! Just inject some inflation ! I am not saying it should be super easy to climb but this just unplayable and not worth the countless hours it takes. At this point Solo Shuffle is just a warm-up simulator.

You know, I was 2168 rated when I started losing. Was confused and realized that everyone I was queuing against won the vault lottery after inspecting people. I thought about just sitting a few weeks to preserve my rating, then I realized I’d rather queue and have fun than care about my rating. We have a long season ahead of us and we can just queue for the love of the game mode. I understand wanting to push rating, but I think there is value in queuing for the fun of it, even if you know it’s an uphill battle

Healers don’t wanna deal with shuffle because players have 0 awareness of their healers, don’t press a good majority of their buttons, dps don’t press kick, people wanna type in chat after every death (I wonder why), & it’s not even actual arena gameplay.
If you play a DPS, shuffle should never really be a problem for you.

Just queue up healer in shuffle, someone talks trash? Either afk let him to negative or leave the match if he’s doing well. Log onto another healer toon, go again. Ez af 0 stress.

20 points for 5-1 at 1800 Mmr means you’ve dug a hole that tells the game you’re meant to be 1800.
There is no deflation in solo shuffle people are 500-700 cr higher than they would be in 3v3
The q times are outrageous because the bracket is unfun

The bracket is stream content when there aren’t any Qs and people sitting hour long qs because nobody wants to play with them and they can unlock 2400 rewards. Seen dks get 26+ with gnaw on auto cast. Watered down version of arena where you are rewarded for tunneling and just doing damage.
Should just make it one round and remove the dampening nonsense

There is certainly deflation in solo shuffle.
In the sense that it’s not severely inflated like crimson where 10 years of 1700 xp gets you 3k in shuffle sure but people are still 500 higher in shuffle than their max 3s

Dude its the rating. People underestimate how much of the PvP playerbase are made up of players who just want the achievs and tmog/enchants. I would guess this is like 60% of people queueing up. Then there is like 10% of people who are diehard arena players that will play no matter what. Then the final 20% are ele bots that spam queue until they get reported.

No I mean last season the top solo shuffle players were 3k, now they are 2500, so it’s definitely deflated
Solo shuffle was so popular they had to nerf its rating. It’s actually insane that instead of leaning into a new, modern, and legitimately popular PVP experience they artificially nerfed it in order to time-gate the rating and/or keep people in 3’s.
