Can YOU get invited to a premade or is your personality too annoying?
It’s that easy.
Can YOU get invited to a premade or is your personality too annoying?
It’s that easy.
I dabble rarely, not my go-to since premade vs premade is too rare (dodgers zzz)
So anyways, Can you queue for an epic as a singular raid group?
wait, aren’t you in BSG? or is that someone else with similar name?
no I don’t work for battle state games, not a huge tarkov fan
1). PUG players are not allowed to queue in raids, so technically, your synchronized queue is cheating. Last night I queued for three epic battlegrounds and noticed the same names, including yours, in each one of them. Essentially, Blizzard imposes a height restriction barrier at their “door” to cap the size of friend groups that can queue together, but you circumvent this rule.
2). You argue that premade communities offer the best environment for learning map mechanics, but I would say this is not true. The reality is that you win epic battlegrounds with the help of a huge advantage inaccessible to PUG players. Consequently, there’s little incentive for you to strategize, as sticking together as a 40-man group with 12 healers can make even sub-optimal plans appear professional.
When I encounter these familiar names on an alliance team without the 12 healers they usually have, which indicates they are probably in a semi-premade rather than a full one, they perform not much better than an average PUG team.
I’ve even witnessed a full premade alliance team lost in Wintergrasp because they didn’t understand the going BT plan very well. As defenders the premade Alliance team went to BT, expecting the PUG Horde team to chase and offer easy kills. But some horde took initiative and spammed chat to ask people to regroup in WP. Surprisingly, only a few horde suicided in BT and the majority of Horde players regrouped in WP, catching the Alliance premade off guard. Unsure of how to react, the Alliance team initially moved to SR as a group, with the Horde following suit. Subsequently, the Alliance team went to EP and split into two groups at EP, with one defending EP and the other attacking towers using catapults. 30 Horde players swiftly overwhelmed them at EP, obtained ranks and retreated to SR, built a bunch of demolishers and took down the base walls without encountering any resistance.
The leader of this defeated alliance team remains an active member of one of your premade communities. However, I must say battles like this Wintergrasp are extremely rarely seen. Most PUG teams simply rush to BT to be slaughtered. But this still highlights how some premade leaders take a win for granted and are not motivated to delve into map mechanics.
3). Casual players refrain from joining premade communities for many reasons. Many players are reluctant to join premade communities solely because steamrolling PUGs isn’t of any fun. Some may just prefer to play in a casual manner. For instance, my gaming time is very fragmented, and I may need to leave game any second. Thus, committing to team fights becomes difficult for me if my departure noticeably affects the outcome, so I don’t even play mythic+ dungeons or regular battlegrounds.
It’s important to maintain an inclusive atmosphere so that casual players like myself can enjoy playing without feeling frustrated.
However, I believe you could attract more players to join premade communities if you engaged in premade vs. premade war games.
no, x=x except when x = y and x = z, and y =/= z.
and n =/= x and n = syncing.
100% agree that communication and counter plays are keys to wins. The underlying issue with pugs is communication and following raid lead calls. I would say that the lack of teamwork is the more frustrating issue with pugs. I still sometimes pug and stick it out. Majority of losses are because of no raid lead calls being made or no one willing to listen. Plenty of times just out classed on dmg or heals. No biggie just the roll of the dice. I would still say joining in a community will help learn objectives and that the more people familiar with the map mechanics the better. I for one have never seen anyone trying to show objectives to pugs in a match so yea a community may help in that matter.
if those community’s wont let our members in why should we let you in?
i too was kicked from a community just for being associated for BSG, its goes hand and hand.
It doesn’t negate the fact that premades skirt the rules to have an unfair advantage. In return the community gets less new blood and lower participation. Enjoy!!!
i did just read somewhere (over on reddit) that new people aren’t rushing to join pvp to begin, so…
It’s for reasons that I’ve already explained my homie. And I believe you touched on it too. Didn’t you say something about all the mods/addons etc….
well i hope you’re at least consistent and that you’re complaining about mod usage. Although once again, this is another issue that blizz doesn’t seem to mind people using.
I do feel like the lack of a user friendly ui is bad. Although the recent changes are a net bonus. Either get rid of weak auras or add a user friendly version to the base ui.
Yeah, it does work both ways as I’ve come to learn. I just wanted to inform other potential recruits they may get the boot down the line if they have affiliations with other communities. (which is why I inquired if that is still the case, as this is a recruitment post I didn’t know if that changed.) I didn’t closely follow the drama between communities then so I was taken by surprise when it happened
to the shadowrealm with your post! lol I mean the recruitment forums. #rumorhasit #thenarrative #weareeveryehere #rememberthat
I want to be clear, your community leader’s established the rules we just followed suit. is it pathetic? yes it is. but im not goin to have drama in my community or people who have negative intentions.
