There could be a possibility that they’re in the spell book as core spells. I’d hope, at least.
Not only are they taking stonebulwark , but they’re taking thunderstorm and lightning lasso . Enh shaman is one of the most susceptible classes to getting trained melee due to mobility and you’re going to put their stun as a PvP talent which you’ll never pick and you can’t get thunderstorm at all.
Enh shaman will essentially be main kill target every game and you’ll have some of the weakest peels for your partner and will die to double melee faster.
I am not a fan of this pruning to enh sham
I genuinely hope so.
I was expecting some pruning, but not to this insane extent. All we’re left with is basic rotation, passive talents, and half of our cc/defensives at this point.
We’re going back to free kill status.
It’s pretty obvious they don’t like enhancement at this point.
Making us choose between tremor or poison cleanse.
Getting rid of stonebulwark.
Getting rid of lightning lasso.
Getting rid of Thunderstorm.
Getting rid of incap on sunder.
I’m hoping these new changes at least come with a lubricant to make them easier to…swallow?
There’s not enough lube in all Azeroth to make these changes… palatable.
Pucker up Enhance shamies. It’s gonna be rough.
In pvp enhance is going f tier. The will be fine in pve but all classes can be fine in pve. This is sooooo disapointing.
This stings particularly hard, and for one reason:
It was a fun button to press. Arguably the most fun button in its entire kit. Nay, one of the most fun buttons in the entire game.
And I play games to have fun.
I didn’t even see the sunder losing incap.
This is pretty crazy when you think about enhancement shamans CC.
Capacitor totem our main stun , requires placement and timing AND it can get 1 shot and completely negated .
Earth grab totem same exact issue , 1 tap the totem and ur not rooted
The obvious loss of lasso
With losing your short incap on sunder what CC are you actually “guaranteed”
We have no mortal strike, we’ll have no cc , and will only have 1 burst window through ascendance due to it sharing a spot with doom winds .
We go from a support utility class to a weaker fury warrior in mail armor .
Don’t forget, no Stone Bulwark totem now too, so gl staying alive.
Also, you may have missed it, we’re losing guardians cudgel as well. So an even bigger pineapple to…swallow
I know every class is losing stuff, and I can understand pruning our rotation to make the game more accessible to new players, but damn, losing half my kit when it’s already limited in an arena setting is a real kick in the guts. Sundering enabled us an alternative to interrupt or land our cap stun. We already had the worst cc in the game and now we have less. We lost recall too so good by to double ground, no knock too… and now we have to decide between tremor or poison cleans, I loved the depth of an enhance shamans kit and these changes make me feel like all the effort I put in to learn the nuances of the class are null and void. This makes me less interested in playing enhance for sure.
