“It’s just a game!” Would people scream that if the themes of the story were openly racist or homophobic? Blizzard is a big boy company, it should have the intelligence to not frame mass murder as a forgivable offense. Stop defending a corporation’s capacity to have an awful take on genocide. It’s pretty foul and says a lot about your personality.

Its a fantasy story you know plus genocide has happened multiple times one time in particular in fact was committed by the night elves against the trolls but no everyone seems to have forgiven and forgotten about that, also on a side note Warcraft has contained themes of racism in the past if you want proof go play MoP as a horde character
It is a game. It’s a story. It’s fiction. Stop injecting your personal IRL biases into a thing that isn’t real. If Blizzard wants to tell a story about a racist genocidal homophobe, they should be able to without the twitter apologencia losing their minds.

Except Sylvanas isn’t the one with the power to literally destroy reality at the moment.
If Blizzard were to promote genocide as a good thing that we should all aspire toward I would be disgusted. Being that this is fantasy, and Blizzard is not trying to promote genocide I would have to say I am not offended by the fact that Sylvanas did horrific acts and might be redeemed for some reason or another.

Funny how people are getting so worked up over a video game when China is keeping more than a million people in “re-education camps” RIGHT NOW.
All you social justice warriors are just hypocrites, its easier complaining about some made up world than actually focusing your attention on whats happening in the real world. If they really cared about this issue at all they’d actually be using their time to make a difference instead of complaining on some forum for a video game company
