I defended streamers all over these forums (on a different character since the forum overload is so much and it won’t let me switch to him), I defended you to everyone and your choices with this beta and stress test. I completely understand those choices and letting in who you let into the beta, and that release is only a few months away. But. Now the streamers are in to even the stress test and the rest of us with invites are sitting here getting “server offline,” “no realms available,” etc.
The streamers and the beta testers have through the end of beta to test things. This was our time to test things. Not streamers. Not the beta people. They should not get a “priority connection.” They will have 2-3 months still to test things. We won’t. We get 24 hours. Please let us in.

The stress test isn’t for YOU to test, it is for the devs to test. You are just the cannon fodder to bog down the servers. If you weren’t game for a beta stress test, you should wait til release.

Not what I’m saying. Truthfully, if it ends in 50 minutes and we all get in to play around 1-5 I’ll take back my disdain. But the streamers are in and playing. Every single big name one. They’re all in beta already, so why is Blizz not letting the rest of us in? They should be sitting in queue like the rest of us getting kicked every 2 minutes.

They already confirmed that we’ll have 24 hours to play on the stress test server before they take it down, so you have time.

their only priority is they had premade characters from testing already, so they just logged in without having to wait for character creation. It’s not like they have some special backdoor in.
Yeah I definitely feel you, starting to think that this is what it’s supposed to be for 2 hours and then they’ll “reward” us with 24 hours of 1-5 play time.
However, it is still rude to let the streamers in when they’ve got access to the beta for another 2-3 months and we’ve only got 24 hours at lvl 5 to test stuff.

More upset that Blizzard said they’d be doing something “fun” at the end of the 2 hour test. Looks like we’re not in for it, only the streamers. I wanted to test and play myself but was also looking forward to whatever GM chaos was gonna happen.

Blizz isn’t “keeping you out” there is just a very large amount of people trying to get in…The POINT of a stress test.
And if they actively prioritized streamers, which I doubt, from a business perspective, streamers have an audience. That is advertising… free advertising. They can hype WoW to their entire audience. What do you have to offer that should entice them to make a special priority queue for you to test the game (which is not the point of Beta’s).
I get the feeling you weren’t around during release of WoW. Or really it’s first 5 years…

Heh, whatever you want to believe my friend. Coming from an alt with 2 posts and to an alt with 4 posts. You can flame me all you want, try to pretend I never played. Oh yes, I remember the crashes, the d/cs, and the fun entire day maintenances. The severs coming back 1 by 1 and the hogger raids. I remember it all.
As I said previously, I understand why Blizzard put streamers in their beta. And those streamers will have unfettered access to the game while we don’t for the next 2-3 months.
And also as I said previously, I understand that this is part of how a stress test goes.
I see that you just want to troll and be a jerk to someone though, so go ahead man. I’ll just ignore your dumba** remarks from now on.

They’ve been able to “advertise” all week long with the beta. If this is at release then wow, a big middle finger to normal players of the game. I am not going to stand for “advertisement” purposes to let a streamer get in 2+ hours ahead of everyone else on release.

oh, well some get up at 4:30 in morning to go to work and don’t get off until about the time this ends on Wednesday night. Think the point is, the streamers got priority here and 3 months in closed beta to boot…
I don’t understand. How are the streamers playing when every time I log in now it says the server is offline…

Yeah, I mean it is what it is unfortunately. Totally get why streamers are in beta, however they should be kicking rocks like the rest of us right now helping actually stress test the server and logins. It’s actually quite ridiculous that they’re not.
That’s not the case guys. The stress test is working as intended. It’s trying to replicate a launch environment. I bet they did want to test layering though. There’s more people than streamers, we just cant see those people, but can see the streamers.
They still can, hopefully in 30 minutes this “stress” part is over. I’ve been doing my part repeatedly logging in, so hopefully us sheep get our “reward” in 1-5 play time (I am actually going to use it to test things)
