Defection?

I don’t mean a faction change from the Shop. You would be able to keep your race/class. Would you defect? I think I would consider it. Given that it had benefits, rewards or a story behind it. There are plenty of instances of Horde/Alliance switched up.

Factions are outdated at this point. Let me play what race I want, what I class I want, and with who I want.

If I could have Alliance Tauren and Vulpera, I’d grind whatever I must to make that happen.

That shouldn’t need to be a thing. Shift players to a ‘3rd party’ element as many others are toward the Horde and Alliance.

Increasing rep should decrease rep with the other. Just make it like that and things should work out… now how they do the story after that is the big question.

The races and people I want to play with are all on the Horde so I’m set.

Not really the debate here… what i’m suggesting would open up a whole new story depending on the race. Specifically depending on the race.

I would probably play Alliance toons if I could but defect to the Horde. No matter how many times I attempt playing Alliance I end up deleting the toons because it doesn’t feel right. I just can’t get into the Alliance side of things kind of like the Pubs from SWTOR though I had max level toons of all classes on both side in that game and none of Alliance in WoW.

I’m old school in my WoW thought chain where Horde were outnumbered by Alliance and the enmity was always there wherever you went. It’s stuck with me all these years even though I rarely play WoW anymore.

I’d take my druid back from troll to night elf.

Not hating on Darkspear trolls, but I really liked my night elf.

And maybe she’s an arsonist who wanted to see Teldrassil burn :smiling_imp:

i mean, they could even dust off Teldrassil and make it the new defectors sanctuary. ooo 3rd faction!
