Default UI: How to remove it?

Hey all,

Has anyone found a way to remove Blizzard’s default ui completely or at least a way to hide the individual aspects like the new bag icon? It overlays and gets in the way of my Elvui layout and, frankly, it’s terrible.

I don’t understand why they updated it to be less effective and more frustrating than their original default ui. Like, I get that they were out of date in updating it…but after so long with far-superior addon alternatives, why inhibit people from actually designing and using the UI they want?

The bags and game menu were added to EditMode in the latest release. I expect it will take some time for all addons to release versions compatible with the changes.

If they’re going to add it to EditMode they really should actually add it to the edit mode.

They’ve left it off the checkbox of options, so you can’t turn it off.
The only size selector is to make it bigger, not smaller.
You can’t change the alpha or click through.

It’s a very half-baked change.
