Hi usually the slider in graphic setting is set to 7 mine now defaults to 5 is this normal with 10.26? i have a 9700k 32 gb of ram and a 2070 super rtx 8gb
If you are letting GeForce Experience control your settings, then it will change it based on your selection of quality vs performance.

So you’re changing the setting and it’s not saving? If so, that would be a permissions issue on the WoW directory where settings are saved.
I just set it to 7 setting and it saved it but when I hit default settings and only these settings meaning graphics settings it defaults to 5 on the graphics slider is this normal?
Iirc wow detects your hardware and adjusts the settings to your hardware’s capabilities. Do you play at 1080p or 1440p ? How is your fps in valdrakken vs open world ?
i play at 1080p 90 in val to 50s depending on how many players
Defaults for wow are for all conditions where you don’t have to change the settings. Set to a five you should be able to raid do large scale multiplayer content without having a slideshow.
