Deeps Quartermaster Not Providing Renown Quests at 80

OK, so I just leveled my 6th character to level 80. So, I went around to all the quartermasters and they all offered me all of the “renown” quests as expected (crests, keys, stones, etc.) The quartermaster in Dornogal, Hallowfall, and Azj-Kahet. BUT, the quartermaster in Ringing Deeps doesn’t offer me any quests at all on this new level 80.

Anyone come across phenomenon before?

What you get for taking candle.

You may have to do their side quests. If memory serves, and it may not, but I think the quartermaster is an NPC who has to “set up shop” first.

Are you sure you didn’t accidentally grab them already in Dornogal? The Council Renown guy has a kobold from the Deeps faction right next to him that will offer all the quests (but doesn’t sell anything).

I could see someone clicking through all the “collect all the crests” exclamation marks without realizing what they were coming from.

You know, this is probably what it was. I think I had in my mind that the extra guy in Dornogal was just giving additional Dornogal quests. Weird that they have him there and no one from Hallowfall.

Yeah, I don’t get why there’s a kobold in Dornogal either. It’d make sense to either have to travel to all of the quartermasters in their respective zones, or to have a ‘representative’ like that for each of the other three factions instead of just for one.

Because kobolds are set up through a quest line in ringing deeps town. This way no shenanigans can be called due to people not skipping the campaign or something on next chars.

Locked behind a quest line originally most likely keeps people complaining or getting confused on alts with the skips and things that have been added. Just a failsafe basically

Well, looks like it would have been possible to make the NPC only appear in Dornogal if you’re not able to visit him in Ringing Deeps. It’s just confusing having an NPC in both places without explanation.

Idk I mean didn’t take that much effort to figure out what the issue was. Seems like it’s fine to me.
