Been doing some… extended testing with this talent. Awful. Unless I’m missing something, I’m getting maybe 1 proc every 2-3 minutes if I’m lucky. That’s also assuming 100% uptime on the target.
Really unfortunate because the proc build is pretty fun.
They made it too powerful, so they nerfed it until they rework it yet again

The other 2 specs have access to both versions of ascendance. I would kill for enh to have this.
Yea, it just lets enhance really play as it should.
As a PvPer I prefer 2 minute Ascendance over a proc. But they obviously over nerfed the proc into oblivion.
On the initial PTR, people were getting permanent uptime, and that was clearly a bug, or at least an intentional interaction with thorims auto spending. All they had to do was fix this issue.

Yea, it’s fine for sure. Just not as fun. 
I am glad the stormstrike build is good atm though. While I was getting used to prim wave and surging, it was getting a bit heavy on the buttons.
ive been playing DRE for many expansions and ever since they nerfed it alongside the ascendance CD buff i havent used it at all after testing it and never getting a proc
