I can’t be the only one who had thought of this before.
We have a wide variety of “Head” items added to this game ofer the past 20 years, so why haven’t we gotten a Transmogrification Option for the Head Slot not too different from the Separate Shoulders Option we got?
The idea is simple: split the Head Slot Transmog Option to include three separate slots that reorganize the Head Slot Transmogs into categories based on how much of the Head that these items cover:
Hat: everything that is above a player avatars’ hairline such as Crowns, Beanies, Top Hats, Bandanas, Fedoras, Earmuffs, Halos, etc.
Eyewear: self-explanatory in that it includes everything between the eyes and noseline: Glasses, Monocles, Goggles, Eyepatches, etc.
Face: everything that covers the mouth all the way down to the neckline: Scarfs, Masks, Face Coverings, etc.
This isn’t a perfect system mind you since there’s going to be a few Head Items in the game that can overlap two categories, like any of the Trading Post Hoods serving as both a “Hat” and “Face” Item while leaving the “Eyewear” slot available to transmogrify with, or the Mask from the Love Is In The Air Holiday being both “Eyewear” and “Face” while leaving “Hat” available to add.
The basic idea is similar to the Modular Armor System used for Fallout 4 and in 76.
