Deep Wounds

Take a look over Deep Wounds in PvP it looks not right Dmg wise, it seems like the previous bug, what u guys fixed some years ago in Wotlk Classic came back, where Deep Wounds double dipped.

What do you believe Deep Wounds is double dipping on?

Because it’s not double dipping on % damage increases like Avatar.

just Normal stats/ like trinket Proc, and hits twice per hit when Bladestorm is active/ or sweeping strikes on 1 target

had games where warriors Dmg was 55% just Deep Wounds Dmg, top end the Dmg from everyone else by twice as much as the second place on details

i know warri was op in Mop i get it, but the dmg breakdown on deep wounds seems Fishy

This is not new, even back in OG deep wounds would end up being high in damage done for a warrior especially if they are spreading it.
I couldn’t tell you the amount of games I had back then as a warrior in 2s/3s and having deep wounds be my top damage by a very good amount because it was so many games.

I’m not seeing it hit twice when Bladestorm or Sweeping Strikes are active. Do you have examples of this with logs or combat logging that demonstrates it having a shorter than 3 second tick interval?

I’m still seeing it only applied on Mortal Strike and Thunder Clap, and not a stacking debuff at all.

Keep in mind that Arms in 5.2 got a Spec specific 100% increased damage with Deep Wounds. And then Deep Wounds got increased by 65% in 5.4 overall, which is then multiplicative with the Arms 100% increase.

So it will be doing a massive chunk of their damage in PvP and PvE.

If there is a bug where it’s getting additional ticks it would destroy even harder than it already does, but we need evidence of this instead of feeling like it does a lot of damage and something must be wrong, because it does do a lot of damage.

I was just unsure, I played mop myself, the problem is, I can’t remember correctly how it was back then because it was too many years ago, I was just very unsure because of the high deep wounds Dmg

Maybe its also the gear scaling because we only have Honor gear

it´s really hard to proof evidence without having access to “Orginal mop”

when i use a p server as an example, it can be bugged in a negative or positive way there too

i dont wanna spread lies, or trying to get it “Nerfed” because i lost to it or something, i mean everyone knows that Warri is S tier in mop/ and really broken

maybe it is also the gear scaling? because we play 5.4 classes but with season 1 honor gear

For me as someone what played og Mop and never noticed such high deep wounds Hits/dmg breakdown, it just looked not Normal to me

especially when they just double the dmg of an MM hunter in a 5-7 Minute long Game in 3v3

i can be completely wrong there, maybe u guys know it better, in which way it can be tested/ or that devs just take a look over

i have scoured our logs to try to find any instance of deep wound double ticks on the same target and can’t find anything, even with sweeping and bladestorm up, deep wounds is just one of arm’s top abilities, its not affected by haste so it always ticks at 3 second intervals. The double bleed ticks you are seeing could be the early ticks of Bloodbath
