Since everyone run it I think it needs +3% buff to be 10% proc chance. At least 1/10 meatballs will activate it
While I don’t have the alpha myself and going strictly through theory crafting and speculations, I don’t see it personally as a strong contender as a talent especially how far down the tree it is.
Yes buffing it 10% would give more reasons to pick it especially as Resto with it applying to riptide, could be a very good passive pick considering the amount of button bloat we seem to have not to mention the must do/have macros to make Shamans playable moving towards DF.
No one will take it anyway.
In m+ it’s a terrible pick no matter what.
In raid, further beyond synergizes way better with the actual ascendance because you can stack maelstrom before you pop and the base duration is much longer.
In pvp there are far better talents to pick and the randomness and short duration of it isn’t good for go’s.
In legion the gambler build was good because you could already have regular ascendance on top of it and it procced off of maelstrom spent, not lava bursts.
It would still be a terrible pick for resto because RNG procs are never good for healers
In pvp deeply rooted elements is a meta build. Probably the strongest for ele right now. With the high reset rate of primordial wave and the almost constant uptime of fire ele amd our set bonuses its ridiculously powerful.
Alright I retract my statement! Wasn’t aware it was good rn
yeah its really strong. you dont have really set “gos” you just kind of flood the field w/ damage and then when it procs it can just drop people…
according to murlok.io 42 out of the top 50 ele’s on NA are currently using it. lol its pretty meta.
I was not talking about alpha ![]()
I completely apologise, I thought you meant through Alpha, most Topics been talking about Alpha, I misunderstood.
Personally I think it’s safe to say Shadowlands big changes are really done and dusted and they trying to get everything solid for Dragonflight, Season 4 is only realistically going to last a few months.
Nonetheless I wouldn’t be at all against a buff!!, sorry again I sort of jumped the gun on what you were talking about.
