And after 5 times watching, I still can’t get through those last final scenes, (one of which shows the dad and his daughter standing on the shore, waiting to get hit by the tidal wave and she hugs him and says, “Daddy!”) without my eyes leaking this strange fluid.

Hell, I can’t even write this without chocking up!

Great flick about what could happen to us, if the “right one” decides to hit our planet.

There are better things to watch that a late 90’s generic action flick. It’s so generic that another save-the-world-from-an-asteroid movie came out the same year, Armageddon. Cheap trash like 2012 and San Andreas. Think Independency Day without Goldblum or Smith.
