Deep breath

Im new to evoker and can’t find a way to macro any of the directional spells like Deep breath to a target . Are there any options to avoid clicking and pointing during a dps rotation, or even not using that spell as a part of rotation w/o dps penalty?

I don’t understand–are you unsure of how to steer in deep breath as scalecommander? Or are you trying to get a macro that avoids using the targeting reticle to aim the straight line version?

Either way, it’s 100% going to be part of your rotation and it’s a massive dps penalty to ignore.

I don’t want to click and point to the ground. I find it suboptimal to reposition and clicking around as part of rotation unless is part of the boss mechanics. Id like to play evoker but without any of those spells, is way yo avoid it?

I mean there’s no way to avoid it if you want to play it optimally, but if you’re just doing casual content you can certainly just ignore it I suppose.

You can use an @cursor macro for deep breath to just fly towards the mouse instead of aiming the line though, which may at least make it a little better for you.

Once you have access to scale commander it just starts when you cast it and you can steer it while you go forward, which may be more your speed, althought it’s much more a part of the rotation in scalecommander.

You could play flameshaper which doesnt care nearly as much about deep breath, but they are significantly weaker in terms of overall potential dps output.

Thanks that made it very clear to me👍. I guess Ill try the mouseover option
