What is this used for in PvP settings?
Just hex? Does it work on warlocks’ agony? Anything else?
Remove Curse removes dispellable debuffs of type curse (there is also magic, disease, poison and possibly some other debuff types). A lot of warlock dots are “curse”
There’s an add-on called Decursive. It takes a little bit getting used to but with a few config steps you can get it to only alert you for curse. Makes a noise, flashes a small square, and I click it and someone in my group gets a curse removed

Shaman:
- Hex
Warlock:
- Agony
- Doom
- Havoc
- Curse of Shadow
- Curse of Tongues
- Curse of Weakness

I use Decursive and love to remove Lock curses in BGs. It’s a little frustrating though watching the board light up with curses way faster than I can remove them. Wish they’d take this off the global CD.
Decursing has always been bound to the GCD. Only since MoP though has it been on an 8 second cooldown. The exchange is that every curse is dispelled instead of just one. Previously we’d be able to decurse every GCD but only remove one curse at a time.
