Decrease Level Boost Price

Agreed. $15 would have been tempting. $60 is like…always a decision I’d regret, even though I can afford it. Eff that.

If the price is lowered, then more players will use it, which reduces the amount of players leveling, which will effect the leveling experience for everyone else (such as increased dungeon and battleground queue times).

I think that’s why it’s a good idea to keep the price high.

Lol that name. Grats

I thought about this. A lvl boost was crazy expensive, but then again, the leveling was crazy long as well. So it was a decent trade.

Now there’s literally no need for a boost anymore, so if they want it to be profitable again, they need to lower the price considerably

Like I’m glad they aren’t charging tax because where I am that $75 would be about $85.

You can do 1-50 in 7 hours starting Tuesday. While I wouldn’t care if they adjusted the price, this is a non-issue.

With such a shortened levelling time it only makes sense to lower the price.

I wish they would just remove it from the game. Boosting is so ignorant to begin with…

People constantly boost classes and don’t have a clue how to play them. Insane to me… You should at least have to level to a certain threshold before you can boost.

I had a buddy boost a fury warrior the other day. Keep in mind this person hadn’t played wow in 5 years, they have never played a warrior period any spec of it. He boosted before I could really tell him that was not the best idea.

After he boosts I tell him go do your Black Empire quest chain to unlock your legendary cloak. You boost with 390 gear and 50 Neck levels. This should be more than simple for most to do right? I have had character I’ve done it at like 360-370 with and little to no neck levels.

He couldn’t even get past a scenario in Uldum… He literally didn’t understand how to rotate properly. When or what even his defensive or offensive ability’s did.

He wiped on it about 3 times and then I just had him turn on stream, but I literally had to guide him through it and explain to him all of his ability’s. He wasn’t even shouting for his 10 percent AP.

Which I don’t feel is because he incapable of playing the class or the game. It’s literally because he’s on a fresh 120 with like 30 ability’s that he’s never even seen or killed a single mob with…

Then he needs to start instantly worrying about his cloak, rep, corruption, necklace level, essenses, azerite armor… It’s so damn overwhelming.

Sure someone like me who has 7 max levels and plays a lot. If I boost I can usually get it down in a few days, but not everyone is a no lifer like me. The whole point of leveling is to learn the story and get associated with how the class plays.

Wish this monstrosity never existed from the start. I had a feral druid in a heroic dungeon the other day, spamming moonfire and sunfire and almost never in cat form… great idea Blizzard

I highly doubt they’ll change the price, and they shouldn’t. If you want the convenience, you’ll pay for it, but I know that’s one service they don’t care to be profitable.

What kind of a country do you live in? Lol

My state in the U.S. has a $7.25 minimum wage. This is the Federal minimum wage, which 29 states do not go above.

Which makes $3/hour 41% of someone’s hourly earnings, if they’re minimum wage workers.

To answer your specific question of

The answer is a terrible one.

i will buy it if it is 10 dollar

agreed but the funny thing is people will still pay for one…even though leveling from 1-50 can be done in what 5hrs now?

Ewww. Is that at least only on hospitality jobs so that you get tips ontop? Or just in general?

Minimum wage here is like…$20? Just double checked, $19.84.

Boosted characters are the worst to play. I can’t like them for some reason. 10 bucks would be a better price for something like that.

In that case, that individual has more things to worry about than playing wow and buying a boost.

I mean they revamped the leveling so people wouldn’t be discouraged to do it and it would actually be fast and enjoyable. If they make the price of boosts as low as $15 it kinda negates revamping the system.

Ok, try and keep up.

Max level is max level.

No, any jobs that are based around tips are allowed to (and typically do) pay less than the $7.25 minimum wage.

I agree. My point is not necessarily that the boost needs to lower in price, but, rather, my point is that a $60 purchase is not insignificant for a large number of people, even in wealthy countries.
