Decrease Level Boost Price

Since we are going from 120 to 50 (more than half the levels) in Shadowlands are we going to see a decrease in the price of level boosts? They are way over priced as is for 120 levels but for 50? Its insane.

Well now its way easier to level so almost no need for the boost.

irrelevant. Theres no “need” for a boost now but we have it.

Honestly with the leveling revamp I’ll never buy a boost anyway. Maybe if it was like $15 I would

I highly doubt it. The high price isn’t for the amount of levels, it’s because Blizz doesn’t want us to use them frequently. The option is nice and there for those who want it, but they’d rather you play the game normally and not mass purchase max level characters, hence the hefty cost. Even squished to 50 it still doesn’t change the reason to deter paying to win.

I meant need in the way that it will be far more convenient to get a max level through leveling than before shadowlands. So it doesn’t save much time.

Overpriced? It takes like 20+ hours without boosts and carries. At $60 that’s at worst $3 per hour which I can guarantee you wouldn’t consider overpayed if that is what you were earning for a living lol.

Levelling has been significantly buffed in terms of speed, so if the price doesn’t sit for you just put in the 7 hours :man_shrugging:

$15 for a boost seems reasonable.

You want the convenience, you pay the price. Blizzard is not a charity.

So you know when your favorite brand of cookies gets a new label? Where the product inside is identical despite the different packaging?

That’s what’s happening with the level squish.

That’s slightly under half of minimum wage. For a large segment of the population, a $60 purchase - even if it totals to $3 an hour - isn’t insignificant.

Considering it takes roughly 6 hours from 1-50 and maybe 5-10 from 50 to 60 I doubt it. You can get 1 max level toon per week if you wanted playing extremely casually.

$15 sounds nice. I’m looking at numbers people are saying here and I’m going “American?” Because I felt like checking and for me it is $75. That really shouldn’t stay with the level cap be cut in half.

Guessing you’re Canadian, or?

Yep, our prices suck. Doesn’t matter if you’re American or Canadian, if you use dollars you can understand that is a lot of money.

I agree the price is high but, why would they change the price? The boost will do the same thing after Tuesday that it does now.

Leveling is so insanely easy who cares what the boost price is, you don’t have to buy it lol

If you really need a boost, use gold to buy tokens, do it for free.

Oh yeah, I feel that.

OP walks into a fresh thread.

Our prices really do suck. It’s expensive to buy things as a Canadian. $75 for a boost, is absurd.
