Just…why?
They have purge, slow, shock, and totems.
Do you not understand on the balancing side how this is problematic? Not only that, but Alliance have no ability to dispel it.
Top it off they have over-the-top damage and are effectively ALWAYS doing proactive things while not in melee range.
Shamans are more broken than Dragonflight buffed Ret.
We simply don’t have the measures to handle them.
Simple fix. Decoy totem no longer grants immunity when the totem is destroyed.
Or
You lose the ability to use grounding totem shock cooldown is increased by 4 seconds.
Make it a trade-off.

Sure, when they nerf paladins first.

Do paladins really need a nerf? I’m guessing you’re talking about Ret. I dont see Rets dominating in BG’s I’m in.

yes when i put down decoy totem it auto logs any alliance out of the game and forces them to make a complaining post on the forums.
dont make me put an earthbind totem down. you will be rp walking for 6 days after .

The forum is the only place where anyone stands a chance of beating a shaman.

Cuz they are here on the forums complaining about Shamans. They are boarderline OP and are flying under the radar. But people will complain about then soon enough.
Most rets don’t appear as op because they’re not as good as making ret op because ret is still squishy without bubble
Enh are so apparently op because of how easy they are to be op with due to way of Earth safety cushion
That’s the difference

You dont have to fight them so you have no clue.
Tell me, what do shamans NOT have an answer to in PvP? You have virtully no weaknesses and are performing better than other pure classes in their respective role.

Still one of the easiest classes to kite
Yes but I do have to fight alongside them - so I have more than a clue.
Decoy/Frost shock.
One of the hardest classes to kite.
Grounding incoming CC and tremor incoming fear.
If a enh sham used WoE… their earthshocks are melee range. I would say they are weak vs SP, Mage and lock and strong vs melee.
Protip for some people: stop using gnomer gear w/o stam. There are so many casters running around with terrible health pools.

Honestly, when people say stuff like this… it’s because they got killed while a paladin used their 5 min CD bubble.
Frost shock drs. Not to mention they need to be in range for that
Treat decoy exactly same as anyone treated freedom for years…simply cc. Trinket? Oh look I have another cc and continue to kite while at 35-41 yards.
Imagine not one tapping totems with literally anything.

Tremor has to pulse to break out of fear… I can’t even remember the last time it worked correctly. I will take a picture next time of me being feared while the tremor is next to me.
Again… grounding has always been part of their tool kit. As a caster I NEVER had an issue fighting Shaman’s. Totems are a joke… they instant die. If they are using WoE they have NO range interrupts.
Nerf shamans immediately!
Ok? WoE is still extremely problematic when you’re perforimg top DPS while being an absolute brick for any melee to deal with.
Strong versus mage, warlock and SP.
You can decoy/purge mage and force blink. On blink if mage attempts polymorph you have grounding and then shock once it’s up. Remember, if you connect, the mage is dead.
If you happen to get morphed and the fight versus the mage is reset, you can simply walk the opposite direction and begin to heal and try to force the mage into awkward positioning for decoy totem frost shock.
Warlock is similar strategy except you have double protection as tremor/grounding marry up and they have to make insane use of their pets.
Spriest you just walk at and demolish and hope that another broken PvP class doesn’t outright obliterate you before you outright obliterare them.
Also, pally fear pants work similarly to tremor. Except we have to give up 40% of our DPS to use it. Or kick. Or get a slow.
