As a long time ele player I gotta say. Reading this at first seemed kinda lackluster. The fact the effect persists even through totem stomping for 10 seconds and dispells novas / roots etc is amazing.
Was already enjoying P1 Wpvp on ele. Cant wait for lvl 40 p2 PvP with this bad boy and power surge paired with Spell power mail gear.

I dont think its that needed tho with the tools Rshams gotten. Going to be very very tanky with all the mail spell power / healing gear etc
Overloaded Healing waves / chain heals , power surged instant cast chain heals is kinda nutty

anything that counters mages is a good thing in my book
Lava burst / overload and then swap between mainly earthshield for spellpushback and casting / sham rage if your ooming in fights against lots of casters / way of earth. IF your gettting super 2-3v1 against melees i swapped my talents to reverb and way of earth and just fought back with shocks / shield mastery etc.
I think way of earth is a lil desynergystic with eye of storm and once i got those talent points i just went full earth shield. Ill prolly be swapping between Sham rage / earth shield based on what im running into and how oom i go. 1 min cd wall is very good and we get a lot of mana back. With the ability to get distance vs some classes with our new freedom i think sham rage will be much more valuable for longer sustained fights.
As a Pally main, I’m not happy that Blessing of Freedom was handed out to the other faction.
As an OG 2004 Shaman…things seemed really cool and went south fast, and we never peaked and started self hating even in vanilla…

Im hoping for warlock and rogue tanks to rise up, and yea…shadowpriests! (as I quit my OG shaman to priest…but healbot for raids)
So far there is something for everybody…and remember this is only P2…So we still got a couple phase iterations and endgame where ANYONE could come online and become OP/Amazing…
This is way more interesting than Retail ATM, with static M+/ Raid BS…
Im having a blast playing/leveling multiple classes/specs.
Ive always loved classic ele , my only gripe was the gear was never fully suited for them.
This SoD version with super bis spell power shields and full mail sets gets me excited to log in

Speak for yourself, man. I’m only playing for 2-hand enhance, something which is being supported this phase. Its also something I always wished came back to my shaman on retail during the 12 years I stuck with that character before switching to monk and paladin.
Oh no. A paladin that got tremor totem in SoD is upset that blessing of freedom was given to the horde? Oh what? You also got Windfury too? Man…
This is a travesty, the paladins aren’t being given unique special treatment Blizzard.
