As a long time Alliance player, I’ve observed that Alliance is generally more friendly to horde in open world than Horde is to Alliance.
With the changes to weapon skill, and gutting Human and Alliance pve identity, the hardcore Alliance players are now far more interested in open world PvP, and that fragile balance has shifted.
Now, me, and many Alliance members, are turning to war against the Horde. We will not stop hunting horde players down in world PvP, especially if those changes go through.
We had to accept the shaman meme in phase 2, and will not tolerate the upcoming changes without a backlash and change of culture.
Prepare yourselves for paying for those weapon skill upgrades with your lives on every crossroads in Azeroth. We will hunt you down like dogs.

You must not be playing CS then, because i’m constantly letting horde go and then they either turn on me and attack or instantly attack. To get through STV I have to die usually a minimum of 5 times because of how absolutely pathetic horde is.
Yeah the group of 40s that killed my lvl 23 warrior and / spit on me multiple times sure isn’t “friendly” as the OP suggests.

I am on CS, but this war affects every server. Alliance are not happy about losing their faction identity. Humans are furious. Retribution is upon the Horde. We will make them pay dearly for this!
The real meme is pallys. The pally that tried to kill Ziqo is the perfect example of the typical alliance player.
Ps. Horde also have weapon skill racials that ally will get, but I wouldn’t expect an alliance player to know much about the topic they are complaining about.

As a guy who has played both sides since 2009 (started playing in 2007) I recently had a revelation.
I have witnessed sadistic acts on behalf of both factions.
It’s not a “Horde” thing.
It’s not a “Alliance” thing.
It’s a “Millennial” thing.
Yep, the generation that was coddled the most grew up to be a bunch of sadists.
While you may be a millennial yourself and your first reaction is to say “But I’m a millennial and I don’t do that” one person does not prove me wrong, that just makes you the exception.
This also applies to those ultra toxic people you run into in dungeons, world chat, forums, etc.
Thanks for being a honorable player, I have empathy for you however, you are surrounded by a bunch of toxic sadists.

All horde are scum and deserve no quarter. Their scummery crossed the line long ago. Pvp to a horde is killing someone 15 lvls lower than themself or running around in a group of 5 killing people 5 lvls lower. Horde are scum. Somethings are just undeniable.

I think you should create yourself a horde toon and level it up.

Of course there are equal, anecdotal, stories on both sides. You need to learn to speak in generalizations. It’s a skill that requires observation.
There will be stories of alliance doing things to horde. I’m talking about a revolution. Alliance are going to change and become very aggressive. Horde will start getting ganked MORE. Which result in a loss of subs on both factions. I’m daring blizzard and the horde to pass these weapon skill changes without a total war ensuing. I, for one, look forward to the shift toward total war if these changes go through. You will find the alliance, does in fact, have teeth.
That would require alliance to be good players first.

i do not eat my own children. i wouldnt be allowed to play horde.
All that will be left are the more hardcore alliance players. When that happens, and they mobilize, you think skill will be a factor? It’ll be a cultural shift.
Plus, all the fair weather ret pallies are going shaman now so the skill is also going to favor alliance on a per capita basis.

This thread isn’t about finger pointing. It’s about if the horde community accepts these changes they will pay a heavy price. Horde has enjoyed the luxury of alliance grace and mercy because we are pve oriented. Regardless of the past, and your experience, things will radically change in the culture between the factions. Whatever you’ve experienced before will get ramped up to 2x to 3x. Blizzard will lose subs. And each server overall will have less players. Not only the humans, but the players caught in between this war. The changes are bad for business, as we all expected weapon skill to take up a resource, such as item slot or rune. Not just be a gigantic boon to the horde. So, if you’re horde, and champion these changes, I want you to consider the backlash coming your way. We aren’t going to just pass by and wave anymore. Oh, no. I will make sure to waste more horde players time than they ever get in weapon skill bonuses back. Sorry, that’s the defensive posture and reaction we must take. Blizzard wants war? They’ll have it!!

You’ll see the difference after the changes go through mark my words. I’ve been playing 10 years, long enough to know what I’m saying. Saying the last 15.5 years proves that alliance isn’t merciful and pve oriented is silly. 
As someone who plays alliance I’ve been keeping tabs for a very long time. It’s how you protect yourself.
