Saxifrage grows on rocks and mountains. I’m not sure the terrain it needs to grow on is actually in the game. There isn’t much mountainous terrain by the gnolls. Or rather, I have yet to actually find any saxifrage by the gnoll encampments.

I am afraid there is nothing to use on the herb. However, one of the herbalism talents lets you gather decayed seeds which, when placed in Rich Soil, can spawn Decayed Saxifrage

Here is the comment for it.

Decayed Roused Seedling requires 20 Dragon Isles Herbalism Knowledge in the Cultivation sub-specialization of the Botany specialization of the Herbalism profession for a chance to drop from any herb that is collected regardless of its empowerment state. When planted in Rich Soil it will generate 1 random type of herb with the Decayed empowerment such as Decayed Saxifrage. These herbs are herbable with anyone else who may be around to collect the herbs and have a chance to drop further seeds as well as Infused Pollen.

It’s very useful considering most of the Decayed herbs I have personally seen are located in an area surrounded by elite gnolls in the Azure Span and these seeds can drop from any type of node and can be planted in any rich soil meaning a much more convenient source of Rousing Decay.

Probably easier to get 20 pts in Cultivation spec of Herbalism, which allows decayed seedlings to drop for you while herbing. Then plant them in rich soil and hope you get saxifrage.

The way I got it was to use a Decayed Roused Seedling on Rich Soil and luck out that the herb that grew was Saxifrage.

It does most in the Azure expanse,saxifrage is hard one to get and more likely it’s on a high cliff near brinkrim .
