Takes for ever to retrieve realm list. Realm list shows no characters. Click on Hakkar US (realm I’m on). Black screen but character eventually loads. Try to load in to the game but the load screen lasts 5 minutes and then I get the character not found bug.

I was having issues with characters not showing or realm not showing now its says character not found. On Thrall realm.

Azgalor/US. This looks similar to what initially happened when SL dropped: you have to select a realm rather than starting with the last one you were logged into; character list takes a long time to pop (with a black background until then); and after character selection, loading bar gets to 2/3 or so and then drops out with “Character not found”.
Editing: I wonder if this thread shouldn’t be on Customer Support, not Technical Support.

Just got into Azgalor. So maybe they rebooted something.
I thought just I have the issues… lol…
Just started working for me after character not found after multiple attempts. Hopefully, they learn from the issue and prevent it from happening a second time. Hey! look, I just saw Horgus the swine fly by…

Finally got back in on the realm I was playing on. After rebooting my computer and blizzard app. I guess this worked for me https://us.battle.net/support/en/article/108907
That, I did not do. I just waited and kept trying. tbh, that’s a little too much effort to get software working that I pay for. I did enough fiddling with software in the Windows 3.X days, id like not to re-experience hoop jumping to get an inferior product to work as advertised.
