I agree 100%. I play other MMO’s with RDF and it does not affect the social aspect of the game, socializing is done through guilds and discord now days.
Unless they make WOW like Everquest socializing in the game is going to be minimal.

I wouldn’t mind RDF if it just found a full group for you. I haven’t played in awhile but the fact RDF teleported you into the dungeon was lame. I like the exploration and getting the group to meet outside the dungeon. I quit after WOTLK and I can’t even remember where the dungeons are because I was just instantly teleported to them all.
Borrowing the line from the ML vs Anti-ML fight: “Don’t like it, don’t use it”.
Present day players don’t want to spend hours trying to find / build groups manually, nor do they want to run to dungeons. Current mentality demands instant satisfaction, unlike when WotLK was out and people actually wanted to work at the game.
So, do you want to have a single classic server - not because advanced tech supports it, but because there isn’t enough players to justify it? After the hype dies, classic pop will as well if you don’t allow some QoL things.
I’d settle for #nochanges with them adding RDF at the end of the expansion, but I’m absolutely appalled that they are stating that they won’t add it back in at all.

But guys RDF teleports you to the dungeon, people totally won’t even know where the dungeons are, the lore, the world, the world pvp!!! think of the missed opportunities by never traveling!! you could even meet your future wife along the way!

RDF has nothing to do with retail endgame since Legion at the very bare minimum, that’s what 7 years now?
Can you raid mythic, heroic or even normal with RDF? No.
Can you do M+ with RDF? No.
Can you even do M0 with RDF? Again, no.
How is RDF killing retail WoW?

Im a booster in retail and I do GDKPs every week in classic. I am in no way shape or form against RDF. RDF does nothing to stop people boosting and GDKPs lol.

Stop living in 2004, times changed and it was proven time and time again people enjoy RDF. If they didn’t they wouldn’t ask for it. It’s just severe classic karens screaming because they want the game to be limiting since it’s how they remember it long time ago when we had CRT monitors and 400 latency.

Ironically enough there are even private servers out there that have cross server RDF, it’s mostly used to allow all the pop to at the very least play together with smaller realms.
Did you ever use RFD back in the damn?
Is so how did it make the game easier?
Where you not able to ever make friends using it?
Did you not go out and quest and do dailies while using it?
Once it was implimented did your sever suddenly die and the ones still playing never left dal ever?
So you think by the time we got dunegons finder that dungeons became so common that the raid gear everyone was after ceased to be imprtant just ebcause running dunegons was easier? Can you explain why the numbers increased after RDF was implimented?

Please don’t compare the 2. RDF and LFR are so much different. I believe you will find the vast majority that want RDF do not want LFR. dungeon ger is not that gear but free raid gear while at lower item level because of dumbed down difficulty is not the same as same dungeon for the exact same difficulty. I hate LFR and love RDF.
