Is there something I have missed or this still the worst rep farming in the game? You have a weekly or two for each, and something like 5 dailies or WQ’s that give rep.
Is there still really no other way to farm rep faster for these two?

Not the worst by a mile, but it probably can be a bit tedious if you didn’t do it as current content.
Apparently there are daily or weekly quests in the Maw which can give rep as well.
The Maw Activities
Some of the new activities in the Maw also grant Reputation with Death’s Advance.
The bi-weekly Covenant Assaults at the Maw grant 350 Reputation each with Death’s Advance, for a total of 700 Reputation/week with both assaults completed.
The Tormentors of Torghast event grant 100 Reputation per completion. The first time you do the event in the week, you will receive another 200 Reputation via Tormentor’s Cache
The Desmotaeron weekly World Quest Containing the Helsworn, grants 200 Reputation on completion. Sometimes the weekly will grant a rep token as a reward, granting another 1000 Reputation with the Death’s Advance.
Killing mobs at the Desmotaeron has a chance to drop. This gives the weekly quest Helsworn Battle Plans, which grants 200 Reputation with Death’s Advance.
The Enlightened grind seems more involved, and seems to be more quest/story driven, so you’ll have to look that one up on WoWhead.
Yeh I’m trying to farm the paragons, and it’s around 6-7K rep per week each assuming you do everything and kill all the rares every day in ZM.
The only thing I can say is… don’t get burned out. You’ll get there eventually either way. If it takes you one more reset, that’s not really a big deal.
But you’ll get there just keep at it.
Yeah Death’s Advance is rough and they have multiple mounts in the paragon chests. Feels pretty bad getting one of those chests and getting neither of them… Painful grind is painful.
Honestly I’m tempted to switch my main’s covenant to get the other covenant mounts off of the Death’s Advance quartermaster rather than level that awful rep again.
Korthia made me cry
Overall Korthia is not bad, for such a small zone they surprisingly put a lot of content in there. That is until you hit the point your need the mount from Konthrogz and the paragon mounts as the only ones left in the zone.
I go there regularly because of the paragon, I cannot even remember the last time I seen Konthrogz spawn and I am always killing rares.
Use a contract that makes all SL WQ give them rep.
Then do WQ all over the shadowlands as well as their dailies.
Have fun.
… Never again.
Lol never to begin with.
There are ~25 WQ’s up daily in SL, to spend 2+ hours or however long it takes to do them all for 375 rep from a contract, no thanks.
Good when SL was live and I was running around doing content, but bad to go back for 2+ hours every day for 375 contract rep.
Enlightened Rep can also come from SOTFO raid too.
I only did open world activities for Rep basically every day and it took ~2 months for Exalted and then another 5 months after that for the Paragon mount (Russet Bufonid)
That’s the way to do it. Getting exalted four times is unconscionable.
It’s what 50 per boss, once per week, and 50 per some of the named mobs.
So maybe 750 per raid clear.
If I kill 20+ rares a day, do the weekly, all daily quests and clear the raid once a week, I will get maybe 1 paragon a week. I done that when ZM was current content, slowed down a bit now, but you would think almost 2 years after that zone came out there would be something to make it easier, same with ZM.
I’m still not sure how I found the time to suffer doing that.
Going into the Maw constantly was horrid due to no flying.
It’s sort of brutal, and not helped by the fact that Korthia has the asthetics of a wet paper bag filled with doodoo.
But theres a ton of mounts and transmogs to be had! Shadow Lands in general had a real slog of repgrinds. As someone who skipped the expansion and later returned to it I’m still working on it a year later.
Outside of murdering cows on timeless isle for stupid low amounts of rep per mob, I would say farming genesis motes for all the various pets/mounts (not to mention some of the patterns which were just dumb RNG drops) is the worst “modern” grind (which I know isn’t rep but still had a ton of collectible rewards).
I used my druid, got that Popcorn upgrade thing that allowed me to do damage to mobs from my trinket slot and just sat in stealth near the portals of never ending mobs while other groups killed them.
Even in stealth I was still doing damage to the mobs and could use my Loot-a-rang in stealth.
I just flip flopped so I didn’t get burnt out. Do the weekly in Koritha and then the Zereth Mortis one. Maybe farm som rares and move on to something else until the quests reset.
Allegedly the one in ZM resets in 3 days but I have yet to find that to be the case.
… I remember “The Eye.”
It used to be MUCH worse. lol
Used to be 3 days, they changed it to weekly.
The Eye was like all the malice Blizzard had built up from Pandaland to SL projected in full upon the playerbase.
