I dont play that lag fest and the objective is to kill the enemy general iirc

Would be great. Don’t even need a new map for it. Any of the current BG’s with a kill counter instead of the normal objectives (not talking about any of the 40 man lagfest bg’s).

Maybe WSG but instead you pick up your flag and carry it to mid and plant it and then defend it. Instead of stumps, you have piles of bodies.

It’s interesting that people seem to think the lag is Ashran’s fault, as opposed to the 80 players in a small space, all casting abilities, azerite powers, corruption, items etc and they don’t see it happening in a suggestion such as this.
I don’t mind it but how would rouge druid comps be handled. Say they just stay stealth heal up etc?
It’s Blizzard’s fault.
If they can’t fix the lag they should take it down or reduce the total number of players to 60 or even 40 and make adjustments as needed to NPC’s. Or let players blacklist.

Tab targeting games do not allow this sort of game mode as AOE will always rain supreme. They tried this in War/other mmo’s with tab targeting and it always turned into mages AOE spamming and big mob groups doing mass burst. Its a limit of the medium.

Bring back a massive ring of valor with both stationary and moving pillars, fires. Those big iron horde tire things

It’s exactly what the OP is looking for: a simple deathmatch format without any “objectives” or PvE stuff. It’s just straight PvP, without any extra BS.
Just 2 deathballs crashing into each other, may the better team win
